@jeevandeep123 I've had my computer hooked to a TV for about 3 years, I'm typing this on a 61" RCA projection TV. I had to buy a special DVI, (digital video interface) cable. Your tv may not be compatible with being a computer monitor, some are not. Look at the back of your TV and see what plugs it has, and try to find a cable that matches both your TV and you computer, it can be a pain, I know. Good Luck

@jbeebrylle well as long as you have a good ratio, which is sounds like you do. Then you can always set an upload limit on your file in order to reduce the upload speed.

Also, sometimes with bitrorrent if you do not have any seeders, then you are relying on the leechers for your file content. Sometimes the leechers do not have the file you need and you either have to wait to connect to a seeder or a leecher with the right files.

I'm presuming you played your file with windows media player? WMP has anti piracy features which will not allow video playback, only sound.

What you need to do is download vlc media player. It is free and legit and will play your file, sound and video. Just google it.

generally if it is in a format such as .avi,.mpg,.mpeg, or wmv you should be able to play it right away. If not then you should google "cccp" and download the codec pack. It should be the first one on the google result search.

The best thing to do is to read the comments and description of the torrent. Also once you get to "know" certain bit torrent posters you should be able to build enough trust with them to know that their files are of the quality you expect.
