  • I can confirm what @sunpwrd and @sboschert have said. As you drive an EV more and more, you stop worrying about range.

  • It's important, as sboschert says, to listen to people with experience driving EVs. So much has been written about this so-called "range anxiety" and how it's a barrier to selling mass numbers of EVs, but if the journalists talked to the people who have been driving these cars for the better part of a decade, they'd realize that range anxiety exists only in the minds of those who haven't driven the cars. Anyone who has experienced EVs for any length of time has no such anxiety.

  • Three of these guys drive electric vehicles (EVs) with around a 100-mile range between charges (the E-Mini and the RAV4-EV) and the fourth has a Tesla that goes around 240 miles between charges. So when Marc Geller says people may discover that even a 60- to 70-mile EV could meet many people's needs, he's speaking from experience. I too have found that the 100-mile range in our Toyota RAV4-EV has been plenty for 8 years and 79,000 miles.
