  • One thing about this show, why the hell did these people forget what to call Dinosaurs? Seriously? I mean, did the memory of what these animals were vanish that fast?

I mean if you're gonna call it Cadillacs and Dinosaurs why the hell make everyone call these dinosaurs other names?

And why the fuck did they decide to call the Rex a Shivat? What does that even mean?

  • @FNGLHR if by "that fast" you mean 600 years, then yes. Thats enough time for an entire language to vanish completely. Try reading a book from the 1300.The franchise was called Xenozoic Tales originally. The characters (in-universe) probably speak a completely different language than english, New York is called "The City by the Sea", for example in the same way dinosaurs have different names.

While being underground for 6 centuries, saving children dinosaurs books was not a priority.

  • @IIIRodrigoVegaIII And yet they still call them dinosaurs in this series. So they know they're called dinosaurs but they don't know their proper names. You can't have it both ways. And besides children's books, what about science books and biology books in general? If they saved history books about friggin cowboys why didn't they save books about Dinosaurs?

  • @FNGLHR It gets translated by the word dinosaur several times, as are 99% of the words they use for clarity's sake, but there is another word for "dinosaur" I'm sure.

No, most culture from our time has been lost. I'm not sure about cowboys, but it is made clear that most knowledge about mechanics, for example was lost, which was much more important before the dinosaurs showed up. People in general are very ignorant about everything.

Try asking a hillbilly the names of dinosaurs.

  • @FNGLHR Well, it has been 600 years, and for all we care, these dinosaurs were probably a more evolved and different. The Shivat could be a from the Tyrannosaur family for all we care. Just saying, these are the evolved kind probably, not the ones from the past

  • WHY IS THIS NOT A SHOW ANYMORE???? dinosaurs + future + weapons = win

  • Everyone talks about the shows they watched like power rangers, transformers, and xmen, and even some obscure ones like tales from the crypt and beetleborgs. Some even go reeeally obscure with things like the original action man cartoon, biker mice from mars or gargoyles......... but I have NEVER met someone who has even heard of this. I was beginning to think I was going crazy and just imagined this from my child hood.

  • This brings back memories! I used to love this show!

  • I miss those days. I feel like crying.

  • Dude or dudette , thank you so much for posting this!!

    YOU ROCK!!

  • Kwahooon~(?)

  • hannah is so hot

  • In my town, we called this game"Mutsapha" game. Every day after school at Mile's burger shop, there were arcades. We bought sandwiches and played the game....XD

  • The animation is still great. Old animators really have something, that's why I don't watch any Animes Newer than Cowboy bebop...not enough in the animation to appreciate like the "old-school".

  • this was on Channel four in 1996-1997

  • Quahoon!

  • man, i remember growing up to jack tenrek's awesome adventures. being 6 was definitely awesome

  • I watched this every saturday when I was young and LOVED it! Thanks for posting this many. I haven't thought about this shows for YEARS until tonight!

  • damn y dont they make em like this anymore

  • Man, I forgot about this show.

America had a lot of GREAT animated series (batman being the best).

    What happened?

yugioh and other poor CGI crap... sigh...

  • so true...and there is a crapier stuff than yugioh.BAKUGAN

  • fucking epic. Reminds me of childhood..

  • This show would have been epic if not for all the eco-whining.

  • Surely Rodriguez needs to get this into a movie right away! Forget about Sin City 2!

  • i mean wow not only are there dinosaurs but also cadillacs, yes

but listen to the dinosaur noises at 3:31 i mean seriously what the heck is that

  • how can something so awesome be so terrible

  • I think I love Hanna, she looks mexican with blue eyes. Tanned with blue eyes.

  • Shivat is how their named the t-rex I think.

  • its actually means any meat eater quhooon!

  • @rnomuere Shivat is a Tyrannosaurus

    Cutters are Allosaurus

Macs are Triceratops and other Ceratopids

  • wow! who animated this?

  • youtube is the best

  • Wow, this show really had some quality animation and solid voice acting. I missed it when it was new but gotta love Youtube for allowing me another chance!

  • Bad guys in mullets. Awesome.

  • Thanks misterbnerdcore and Sronpop (if those are your real names) Its a great show. non?

  • just seeing the Nelvana logo at the beginning (with the bear), brings back memories

  • does anybody know if this was ever aired in britan?

  • It was. After Katie and Orbie. Weirdly.

  • I'm from Ireland and remember watching this as a kid, so yes

  • Loved this show when I was a kid, still do, its great. But one thing now that I see it again after forever, lol does his caddy have a column shift and a floor shift? lol.

  • Was this based on the arcade game, or was the arcade game based on this?

  • THE GAME WAS BASED ON THE SHOW

  • This show was fuckin great..tha comic, game, and toys were awesome as well.I always said if I hit it big in animation this would be one show I use as inspiration for my artwork..that and tha 1st few episodes of TMNT I dont know why(or if anybody notice) tha animation was different then it switched to sorta more cartoony style I guess to appeal to kids

  • In the future, societies have fallen, cities have crumbled, yet somehow people can restore cars from the 1950s and go off-roading in them. And there's... dinosaurs, for some reason.

My God, this show is... AWESOME! Seriously, this show is so weird, but so cool. The comic was even better, although they didn't do too bad of a job translating it to a Saturday morning cartoon. I wish this was on DVD.

  • i liked it alot in the old days of SuperMax

  • I was too young to remember this, but this cartoon looks pretty damn cool.

  • Yeah Caddy's & Dino's was great, was the show based after the game or vis versa? it'd amke a good movie, robert rodreguez would have to produce and direct it though.

  • Both the show and the game were based on the original comics. Kinda like TMNT in a way.

  • It should have been bigger, probably too inteligent. A film would work, Madmax+Jaws+jurassic park = This.

  • Not in this kind of 'dumb-down' age of films...not right now. Think about it.

  • this would make a great movie. thats an amazing title

  • Me trae recuerdos cuando lo veía hace 13 años n España...

  • fuck ya i have spent years trying to fund this, it was the best cartoon of the 90's right up there with x-men and batman

  • Mustapha best!

  • mierda....no la pueden conseguir en español

  • Back to the days of "destroyed" and "terminated."

    Hells yeah.

  • Oh my sweet ever loving mother of F**King god.... YOU RULE!!! I spent over tons of quarters on the arcade game of this. Watching the tv show as a kid was a friggen extra birthday! THANKS MAN

  • For the time period, the animation was spectacular

  • oh man does this bring back memeories, I used to have it on VHS but my dad gave it away

  • this has the most amazing animation!... hannah's character design is fantastic and the intro tune sweet!... thanks for putting it up!...

  • i loved thi show... but in the end he loses his cadillac for the girl.......leaving only it's steering wheel.........hope they renew it.

  • Oh,God yes!

I pratically forgot about this show. And the animation kicks ass.

  • never seen this but it is better then what they air now

  • I know where you can get the complete series on DVD (unofficially, of course, but still pretty nice quality) if anyone's interested.

  • Dude! Where can you get it?! I loved this show when I was a kid

  • I love you Hannah!

  • I thought this show was great when I was a kid. It was this crazy amalgamation of all these different things. Dinosaurs, native American philosophy, 50s style vehicles, poachers, and stuff I can't even think of. All set in a post-apocalyptic jungle and desert. Nothing of the shows premise makes any logical sense, but when I was a kid it was fantastic. Pretty good animation to boot.

  • 3 facts about the show:

    1) The car sounds like agent K's Ford LTD Crown Victoria

    2) John Hammond couldn't control the Dinosaur population

    3) What, no progress since the 20th senturie?

  • Good product placement, don't you think?

  • it's been ages since i saw this fro the first time...omg! thnx a lot guys! i was only 10! im gonna cry right now...damn!

  • Anyone have any idea if this will ever end up on DVD?

  • No word on an official release, but I know where you can get the complete series unofficially if you're interested.

  • unreal where?...

  • dude you have any more episodes by chance?

Where was this unofficial dvd at?

  • wow...

  • I like Cadillac and Dinosaurs a lot guys. I beat the arcade game thousands of times.

  • wow, talk about nostalgia! I used to watch this show every saturday morning. Thanks for posting, any more?

  • thanks this cartoon was never available to me this is sweet man!!!!!

  • THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES ..90s CLASSIC CARTOON SERIES .... THREE THUMBS UP!!

  • When I watched this cartoon, I was disappointed that Mess O'Bradovich (the strongman who was playable in the arcade game) didn't make any appearances whatsoever.

  • I remember this. I loved it sooooo much

The very least they could do is put a remake together if they're not going to rerun the excellent episodes! This made my childhood. Hannah and Jack were always my favs.

I still remember Hannah using her crossbow and doing that somersault-neck-grab-boody-flip on the cyborg psychopath who had red hair...can't recall his name tho

  • good to know im not the only one who remembers it

  • YES YES!! I LOVE THE SERIES! I met Mark Schultz over the weekend, and it totally rekindled my intrest. Thanks you so much for posting this!!

  • Aesome show,

  • Wish they'd release this on dvd...

  • They should do the film now,it would work. MAD MAX meets JAWS meets jurasic park. SOMEONE PLEASE IT HAS TO BE DONE.

  • I LOVE YOU!!
