Well, for once they're both part dragon... 0-0 And their fathers are the rulers of a country. And they're some of the main characters of Path of Radiance and Sword of Seals.

NO, this is better. The FE7 one is too happy, and it sorta emotes "oh look, we're winning, isn't that quaint?" where there one emotes a more treacherous journey, "we're finally winning after the long battle."

No, this is the FE6 version, but it's from the soundtrack, meaning that it wasn't compressed, and therefore the quality is much higher, giving the _impression_ that it's actually different.

What are you talking about? This song is older than SSBB. This song was first made (although not this version) in 2002. Roy's hope is that he will finally win the battle and save Lycia from Bern.

There is a game besides Melee with Roy in it; he has his own Fire Emblem game for GBA that was released only in Japan. You should get it; it's very hard but very good.

Roy would be half dragon, but remember that Roy's fire emblem game, Fire Emblem 6: Sword of Seals (2002) was made before Ninian's game, Fire Emblem 7: Blazing Sword (2003). Fire Emblem 7 is known in the US as just "Fire Emblem."

Roy isn't the son of Ninian. Otherwise he would be able to see into the future like Sophia, and he ages normally.

Also keep in mind that Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals, where Roy is a playable character was made before Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword where Ninian's debut is.

Well, Roy could be actually be Ninian's son since she is half dragon herself, so Roy would be 1/4 dragon. Ninian is the daughter of the dragon Ninis and the Dark Druid Nergal, but for some reason she can still transform into a dragon while Sophia doesn't (maybe because of the dragonstones, I don't know).

Then what about Sophia? Wouldn't she also be vulnerable to the sacred weapons since she is half dragon? BTW, if Roy was Ninian's son, he'd only be 1/4th dragon. Try to find out who are Ninian's parents and you'll get te answer to the mystery.

i dont wanna seem liek a prick but theres no point in trying to figure it out because fe 6 was made before the eliwood one so therefore the different endings could make about 3 or 4 possible mothers for roy. could be ninian and lyn and some other chicks

@MegaFunnyGuyz You can get the import, but what I did to play it was obtain a gba emulator and transfer a translated data rom of the game into my pc and played it. It's a really good game.

@Plasmon19 I vote for Ninian, besides she is part Dragon just like Roy, but Eleanora is also part Dragon, so even if Fiora is Roys Mom, He will still be Dragon, is confusing.

@PKFreakz It can be that Ninian is Roy's mother, plus in FE6 there's an ending sequence in which "time passes" and Roy still looks the freakin' same. He ages slowly, like Sophia.

blufalc0n. marth is actually not weak. the tip of his sword does good damage when u smash someone with it but why did they have to take out roy and put his song in brawl. that makes no sense at all.

I'm aware of that, but that's only in Brawl, in Melee Marth is actually weak. Even Roy can inflict 51% Damage in Melee. And can kill a character in 57% damage.

I can hardly notice coz everytime I use Marth in Melee, it'll take me about 110% just to kill it using Marth, Roy can kill it easy! In Brawl, Marth is more stronger and better, even his final smash is like awesome. Ike is my best in Brawl, but Roy is my fav. character.

dude, Fox is faster than Marth. and they both were weak in Melee. In brawl, those two are in my top 5. Roy isn't even average, I can beat Marth using Roy! Even I've finished Event 51 using Roy!! and in Very Hard difficulty in Classic and Adventure using Roy.

It doesn't matter if you can beat Marth with Roy; Marth is still better...much better. Roy was actually one of my favorites, tied with Marth, and I can EASILY tell that Marth was much better. Marth can edgeguard you to death in seconds, has a long grab range, long attack range(with the very end being very strong), a huge wavedash(I hate wavedashing anyway), and what Roy DEFINATELY doesn't have is MULTIPLE kill moves; Roy's only reliable killing move is his front smash, which is predictable

WHAT?? Marth has no kill moves at all!! It'll take at least 110% just for Marth to kill someone, without weapons. His counter is weak in Melee, but in Brawl, it's a signature cool move. All things that Marth have, Roy got it as well, Marth is faster at slicing, Roy is stronger. Marth's charge B, and Smash attacks cannot kill anything unless if the damage is over 100%. Roy, can kill using all Smash attacks, front, up and down and the charge B-Move is the strongest damage maker in the game, 51%.

You obviously don't know about competitive Smash, because apparently you don't KNOW how Marth is. He has a powerful meteor smash, the awesome ken combo, strong tippers, and I can go on. Roy's "sweet spot", I have to admit, is very strong, but he has to be CLOSE RANGE. Marth doesn't have to; he can be a Kirby away from a foe and do front smash without worrying at all. Besides, most of the kill moves you said for Roy are pretty useless, except for front smash. Charged B takes FOREVER to use.

Probably, u don't know how to use Roy fully, and I don't know how to use Marth fully. I don't see much about Marth in Melee, u don't see about Roy that much. Marth can't even hit very far, the distance is just like Roy's/ While Marth's tip is stronger, Roy's hit is stronger in close range. I prefer the close range combat, coz fighting in long distance is very cheap. The charge B only takes 3 seconds, and I know how to control it. Marth's is too fast, it's hard to time it right.

Cheap=better. As how much as it sounds stupid, it is. Why are Snake and Meta Knight the best characters in the game? They're cheap as hell.

And no professional is going to fall into a 3 second charge. And Marth's is "hard' to time right because you don't know anything about him. I used Roy as I much as I used Marth, my number 1 main. Obviously, Roy was inferior. We could argue forever but Marth will always be superior.

What do you mean Cheap=Better? Cheap means losers, with NO TALENT! Marth doesn't suit my timing. If the character goes close, that's when you use the charge. Actually, I know A LOT about Marth, I can time it in Brawl and feels like Roy, but in Melee, he sucks. Marth is my 2nd best in Brawl, he ROCKS in Brawl!, definitely, but he sucks in Melee. Roy has been my main in Melee, in Brawl, guess who? Sure we can go FOREVER, so lets end it as Roy being better 4 me, and Marth being better 4 u, happy?

Oh and Marth's charge is pathetic! You only charge if the time is right, and Roy's charge can act as a defence, Marth's can't. Roy's counter is better than Marth's. Because on Marth, you have to time it the excact time as the attack, on Roy, Counter before the attack lands. In Brawl, Marth's counter can counter anytime, I said Marth is weak in Melee, I never said he's crap @ Brawl. He's awesome @ Brawl!

ok.. the tip is actually awesome, I was wrong about the 110% damage in Brawl, Marth can kill in 65% with the front smash using the tip though, in Melee, it feels like it doesn't work. My opinion is that Marth sucks @ Melee, but awesome @ Brawl, even Roy can protect and do counter using the charge B or the 'actual' counter. All Marth can do is counter, Roy can make flaming moves, giving even MORE pain! Marth only has his swift steel, wlich gives less pain. Power vs Speed but I still prefer Roy.

Why would they cut Roy? I love Ike but Roy was My personal favorite.. Flame? in nearly every attack? c mon.. Roy is the greatest.. But I like marth too... I love all the swordsmen..
