  • G R E A T

  • It's sad that today's musicians just don't have the charisma and presence that musicians back then had.

  • @jeffrman777

everything is change now its just emo music & always stage fright & forgetting the beats

  • Wonder what their dry ice bill came to.

  • 17 heads r still at the bottom

  • the first video they ever made cool look how handsome vince is .

  • even this is freakin kick ass

  • mick mars can move here best guitarist

  • vince is amazing here :O

  • 17 monos incultos que no saben nada de buena musica, aguante los crue forever!!!!

  • 16 people dislike, fuck them cuz MOTLEY CRUE is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn I was born in the late 90s

  • @weezer201590 96 for me, feel your pain man.

  • This sounds so raw, no fuckin' around with this song!

It's a shame that after Shout at the devil, they had changed their sound to more glam, but those are the rules of the market :P

  • @Kuba084 I agree, as a pure metalhead they lost me when Theatre of Pain came out, but the change in their sound made them all tycoons and put them where they are today. I still don't like the all that much after Shout, but I can tell you, they still put on one hell of a great live show !

  • Wow Vince sounds so fuckin' great here

  • Best band ever...

  • God that was an awesome time be young.

  • I have a flyer autographed from by Motley Crue from 1982 my uncle knew Tommy in highschool and a little after that...my uncle and my dad were invited to his 21st birthday party and after that Motley took off and my uncle lost touch with Tommy...I want the world to end and restart so I will be able to experience the 80's...I fucking hate this era

  • Motley Crue Kicks Serious Ass!!! This is one of my favorites off of "Too Fast For Love", and it kicks ass live!!!

MOTLEY CRUE ARE THE BAD BOYS OF HEAVY METAL!!!

  • where are those mick mars pants today?

  • mars is THE best fucker alive! :)

  • gotta love the old crue sound

  • Back when the Crue used to rock; when they still had that Sunset Strip sound to their music.

  • fuck yeah dude.

  • Shake those hips Vince! lol

  • i love this fucking sog.i've benn looking for it for ages!!!LONG LIVE METAL!!!

  • I have a flyer of them on this stage from 1981 and my dad met them and got there autograph he was 11 and Nikki wrote Perverted Service under his autograph haha does anyone know what that mean's ?

  • Motley Crue rules!

  • 80's at its finest!!! % 5 DEVIL HORNS

  • MOTLEY CRUE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Vince Neil's old producers are thinking if they had only invented Pitch Tune earlier, they would have had less sleepless nights.

Neil is one of the most undisciplined singers I have ever heard. He could never sing ta song the same way twice. He was like a kid with attention disorder.

If the rest of the band was not so fucked up in the early days, Vince would have been gone. LA Guns Phil Lewis would have been perfect in the crew.

I love the crew but live shows have hurt their legacy.

  • @crimsontiderdotcom i disagree. What I loved about the Crue (not Crew) was that they were raw and dirty sounding. Vince has the charisma and the band played LOUDER THAN HELL. It was a refreshing change from the high tech/over produced sounds of the 70's. The Crue blurred the lines between Metal/Punk/Glam.

  • @Jimmibear13 It's Crüe not Crue. I made a statement about Vince's lack of discipline with his voice live hurting their legacy. You disagreed with that statement for these reasons lol? 1. They are raw 2. They were dirty 3. The band played loud 4. The band was refreshing over 70's music. 5. They blurred between the lines of Metal/Punk. Get you head out of your ass man! By the way, I like the band, but my point is valid with most musicians. You would make an awful debater
  • @crimsontiderdotcom I am approaching from an esthetics stand point. What you say works against them worked for them. I don't need to be a debater to tell you that you are are full of shit and your opinion means nothing. So stick that up your ass, dude.

  • @Jimmibear13

You have difficulty with details of a larger system that you like, you get frustrated accordingly. I welcome rebuttals but the blind defense without anything to add variety, not welcome :) ( "Yeah but their loud as Hell!" )

MÖTLEY CRÜE's live hurt their legacy. Their much better performance on stage today is only1% of their career.

I love M.C, but Vince was awful live. One of the worst I can recall.

    Early typical...watch

  • @PookieDooky You know, it is hard to take someone named after a bowel movement seriously. It isn't a blind defense, it is a question of taste and aesthetics. The band played loud, raw and dirty. It was the antithesis to the Corporate Mainstream AOR Rock of the time. Inspired by the punk movement, all you needed was attitudes and catchy riffs. As far as their legacy, this band played Santa Monica Stadium before they even had a record deal. Fuck auto-tune.

  • @PookieDooky Incidently, between you and me, pookie--how many stadiums have you sold out? How many albums have you sold? PAH!

You would want to Auto-Tune Johnny Rotten, I bet! You don't get it, my friend. This music was a rebellion, a middle finger in the face of the long season of California Rock.

  • @Jimmibear13

This is about Vince Neil sucking up the place live for most of his career, not how loud they were, the mood, Auto-tune, or your lack of focus on a simple subject.

Look at some of the live videos and you will see many other comments of similar nature.

Their biggest influence Aerosmith didn't have the same problem.

You really ought to be a rap fan with your lack of musicianship attitude. Metal prides itself on that more than the adolescent adjectives that you attached to it.

  • @crimsontiderdotcom I listen to Rap, Metal, New Wave, Techo, et al. I am a music lover.

Mick Mars said it best, Vince had charisma and could get an audience on its feet. I wouldn't cast him in La Travita or La Boheme--but for Crue, he has done alright.

  • @Jimmibear13

Type in at the search bock:

Mötley Crüe - Shout at the Devil jakm

This was during their peak, and performing at a huge venue in Russia. Anyone who thinks I'm out of line by being a little critical if Vince is being biased. Sure you can take the drunk stance and bang your head and yell "Crue!", but most any honest critique would give this a low vocal grade. Mentioning La Boheme is presumptuous, comparing Vince to his peers would show more intellect to this topic.

  • @crimsontiderdotcom

Sixx hired Vince after seeing him with his other band and liked his moves and appeal to the crowd, he was never overly impressed with his vocals. From their biography, Sixx wanted to replace him early on but decided against.

I liked M.C through the Girls album. Saw them twice in concert, Germany early on and during the G.G.G's tour. Mars was out of tune for most of the concert and Vince rarely stayed focused.

Nothing to get your panties in a wad over. Not great live.

  • Mick Motherfucken Mars. Worlds best guitarist, in my opinion. lol

  • @TheGoatwhore yeah! he is one of my favorite guitar players an i dont know why he isnt in the top list of gutarplayers

  • mick mars is bad ass !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 15 people need to be thrown from the top

  • this song makes me wanna get wasted and kick ass!!! imposible but intriguing! sorry bout bad spelling not gonna retype it!

  • Jesus, I cant stop staring at Vince :D He is awesome! Mick Mars once said that when he first saw him, he said: "I dont care if he could sing, if he could do anything. I want him! This guy is exactly want we need." And I completely agree! But everyone from band is great. I love Nikki :) He is so fucking awesome! My bad bad guy :P.... Love this video! And I´m going to watch some others :P Drink, have sex and love Motley, my dear! :)

  • @MotleyFuckingCrue5 Nikki Sixx said that...

  • No low end whatsoever....

  • these guys are too sick here!

    such rawness!

  • this album never got much attention compared to their later ones, but i'd say its one of the better ones.

  • @goingnowhere21 Oh yea by far my fav album!!!!

  • mick's solo at 3:00 really kicks ass!!! ^_^

  • total kick ass material, the crue made it because of this type of crazy shit they did before they got big jaja

  • The Crue Rocks, Mick´s riff is a bonus !!

  • Motley Crue

    the best band

  • mick's facial expressions at 0:42 through 0:45.... XD

  • I love this

  • This video is very rare. Back in the 80s I would have killed to see this video.

Micks shredding is awesome in this song.

  • @Stylensky Oh me too!!!!! Love some old crue! So much better than Dr Feelgood!!!!

  • @peacefulblonde39

actually to me dr. feelgood sucks

  • Early Motley had it all, the look, the ability, the talent, the attitude. They flat kicked ass and ruled the 80`s. Mick Mars is one of the most underrated guitarists ever. I wish they would have kept the early raw sound like this, that`s what made early Motley so magical. By the time they got to Dr. Feelgood, the polish was applied by Bob Rock. While Feelgood was a great album, it was sterilized. Had it been made with the sleaze infested rawness like the early days it woulda been killer.

  • I wish guys still looked like this!

  • vince neil is like the first singer in every really big band-- you know, the one that gets fired as a signing condition, and who only gets brought up in paragraphs containing the phrase "from humble origins..." --except he somehow got to keep his job. genius band, that motley crue.

  • My favorite album, Mars should have kept playing the Les Paul, they sounded way heavier back then.

  • Jay... okay something like this is what you don't find much of.

  • Back when LA bands weren't shit. Within a few years, every moron that wandered in from the cornfields was shooting a $100,000 video right off the Greyhound and had a manager, publicist, agent, booker, promoter, PR guy, specialty A&R guy, record producer, pyro tech, personal assistant, stylist, hairdresser, make-up artist, legal team, accounting firm, head shrinker, coke dealer, model girlfriend, real estate agent, stock broker, fortune teller, yogi, guru, photog, biographer, sensei, masseuse...

  • @JackOfferlott U are sooo right!

  • this song is so awsome yet so underrated. hey people, there's more to the crue then just dr. feelgood and girls, girls, girls.

  • @SevinSinister me too! :)

  • @damoransdowndablock I agree I had the too fast for love album when it was released.

  • @damoransdowndablock Believe Me I know I listen to all kind of freaking songs by the crue

  • Their Too Fast For Love and Shout At The Devil Albums were the best

  • Remember seeing these guys at The Whiskey in 1981. It did not suck.

  • Rock N' ROLL!!!

  • If there was no Motley Crue in 1981 then Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth and all the rest would not have been as big as they are today becuase Motley Crue laid the ground-work for others to come. :o) Take me to the Top!.

  • @patr70 nah, sorry, but all those guys were influenced from european bands like Mercyful Fate, Venom and all the NWOBHM like DiamondHead, Budgie and punk like Misfits,Black Flag etc,,,,,,draw your own conclusions. The Crue were hot as fuck, dont get me wrong, but Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth didnt need anything from these guys.

  • I like what Nikki does at 1:19 <3

  • Thank you Mick Marrs for takin this band to the top

  • backyard parties,Perkins palace Didnt matter The Crue had the Hairattitude, from the start..destined "to the top"

  • hey are leather pants skin tight

  • this is fucing awsome, mick solo is epic,he isnt some guitar master but this was brilliant,i love them :D

  • the band that would rule the rock and roll planet for almost 30 years now.
