  • Ok, the flame test looks like crap. I agree. A simple paper could have reduced the reading on that sensor. It is really only measuring what it sees optically.

  • Buyer beware!!!! Hunter Douglas will charge you Tens of thousands of dollars and when they break(and they will break) getting service is a NIGHTMARE! Crap product, crap company!!!!!!

  • @hotwheels071 Wow hotwheels071, Before you go spouting off about your experience, I'd suggest you contact someone who is directly working with HunterDouglas instead of the window covering store you probably bought your blinds from. More than likely they are the culprit of your bad experience. Good Luck to you, sorry you had a bad experience. I'm an interior designer and have been specifying millions of blinds since 1987 - always good service and an excellent product!

  • These are amazing shades. Only the best will do if you are wanting to save on energy costs.

  • That demonstration is flawed. The infrared thermometer couldn't even see the flame through the blind, a simple piece of paper could have achieved the same thing.

Compare the exterior and interior tempertures of the blind with the sun on the exterior, then we'll talk.
