The options selection was setup so that if they thought the child would not gain the grade they needed, they were encouraged to select an option where they would achive a grade even though the grade was irrelevant for a career choice. This is clearly directed at league tables & when I chalenged this they denied it.

What i found at my kids comprehensive school on the Tuesday evening was followed by an independant report on the Friday that found kids were leaving school with qualifications which were useless. Ask any parent about it, that's Labours bullshit policy.
