at 3:20 you stated that the exhaust sounded like that...so does the exhaust simulate tire squeel? i dont understand. Sorry english may be in wrong words i came from canada.
@woojukim116 Yes you can do a burnout with 370z nismo becaouse i have one and i do it, you just have to take the brake light fuse out and have fun with it lol
@50nollieman watch the end of the video. it will break the back end loose with no problems. the issues arises when you try to do a brake hold burnout.
a complaint in this video is you cant do a burnout... seriously... i might as well have has a 16 year old review it. Seems like a general lack of knowledge about this car has hindered a decent review.
@edub234 Funny, your comment shows YOUR lack of knowledge on the 370Z. The purpose of our demonstration was to show that the car's electronics will NOT let you do a stand still burnout. In order to get one, you have to essentially make the computer go nuts from disconnecting a couple fuses so that it won't re-engage the traction control (even if you turn it off). If you would like proof that we CAN get a burnout from a 370Z, check out our video titled "Xpel and 370Z Burnout".
@burnoutradio my point is WHO CARES about doing a stand still burnout. Nissan doesn't car that you can do a burnout. You cant in a ferrari either, or a lambo for that matter but you dont see people griping about that. The review is decent, but I simply don't understand why the burnouts and donuts are included in a somewhat proffessional auto review.
@edub234 sorry if I misunderstood your point. it's not that nissan doesnt care about burnouts, but rather the gov's growing control on the auto industry recently mandated manufacturers make it that the TC can't ever be turned off. being BURNOUT Radio, burnouts are sort of a must-have in most of our reviews. We may not be the near the best reviewers out there, but I do appreciate your "somewhat pro" commentary. check out our other vids & let us know what you think.
@burnoutradio It's not about traction control, it's called Brake Override Technology, it's on all nissans 2005 and up, it reduces engine power while accelerator and brake pressed at the same time. Just a safety feature.
are u for-real bout the gas thing, that crappy shit... even the Toyota's electronic gas meter is completely accurate!!! I'm in love with this car.... BUT!..... with the NO burning out with the tires + the gas meter's "DISFIGUREMENT" i'd rather not take my chances and get the Camaro 2011 with 4 SEATS!!!!
@tiny71495109 Shortly after publishing this review, Nissan sent out a recall for all 370Zs to get the gas gauge fixed. So, I'm assuming that shouldn't be an issue anymore. And we figured out how to get the burnout we wanted, but it takes some messing around with fuses. Watch our 370Z burnout video to see it light up.
my 370z can do a burnout! But maybe the nismo is different :O i dont know, I would put a video up but my car is locked away for the winter I live in montreal and we got 20 centimieters of snow a few days ago :) time to bring her out and drift a bit
@DatWunKrazieAzn throw a video up of you doing one. as far as we know it's not as simple as turning vdc off. the break override system shuts the throttle to 30% as soon as you jam on the breaks to hold the burnout. . the nismo is quite capable of lighting the tires up but it will NOT do a proper burnout with out by passing the break override. subscribe to our channel as we've got a video coming out soon that shows you what you need to do to make a 370z do a proper burnout.
$40,000 for a 370Z nismo, $46,000 for a basic Corvette that will blow away, very easily the 370! For $6000 more without haggling with the dealer! Ill take the vette.
@Toyman07 Sounds like youre the trailer park queen who cant handle real speed and power. Nothing about the z-queer car can top the Corvette. Cut your mullet bitch and grow a brain.
@nytmstr Actually, the Vette goes for $49K and it's between .5-1.0 sec faster bone stock. So yes, it's a good bit faster, but nothing like blowing it away. Also, keep in mind, the Vette is in a higher category than a 370. The Nissan GTR would be more comparable, more so with a Z06, both of which are near dead even. The 370s compete with the Camaros.
Yet it might be a great feature, this down-shift-programm is for show-offs, I think. A good driver can easily pull the same trick declutchling ( guess that's how u call it, when u r reving up befor the downshift). At least I do so...Why didn't they put in a real double-clutch-gearbox like in the GTR ? Too high costs ?...Never the less, a great looking car, with nice sound...Yet another great review, guys ! greets from Germany ;-)
hows the ride on real roads? because i heard to so rough that it makes the regular 370z very comfy. some of my roads got potholes and it would suck to drive that car as a daily driver......but maybe the regular 370z is the way to go
@TommyM818 The nismo has an even stiffer ride than the all ready firm suspension setup from the other models. But of course it'll handle better too. If you're worried about clearance, it's low, but not too low. But ya, i wouldn't care for this to be my daily driver. The touring sport would be a much better pick.
@burnoutradio yeah the touring sport with nav wud be around the same or maybe less cost than the nismo with more features and comfort. but my question would be is that how MUCH MORE performance is there compared to the regular one? because I've seen forums where people say not much more than you can actually feel it
@TommyM818 The nismo has juuuuuust enough better handling over the base that you can definitely feel it, but the horsepower is just around 15 or so more. Any 370Z will handle like a champ. 9 out of 10, I'd recommend getting the "lesser" Z with all the toys, and then upgrading performance parts yourself as you see fit. Ya, fully loaded touring sport is near same price as stripped down Nismo. Performance/Amenities vs. Better Performance/No Amenities ...... and each for the low low price of $40K
@burnoutradio yeah the point of me purschasing this car is to upgrade the performance later, and the amount of amenities it has, it shortens the list of modifications i need in the future.
thank you so much. great reviews and feedback to the viewers. so detailed and talk about things that actually matter! keep it up!! your reviews are awesome!

@Wavehogger Ya, VDC was turned off, but nissan has designed the program so that VDC never truely turns off. As soon as you apply break, the computer re-engages the no-fun program and shuts you down. However, there is a fix! Pull the "brake lamp" fuse from under the drivers side. Your gauges will be screaming lights at you, so that's when you know it worked. Then it's smokapalooza! We have a video illustrating this coming out soon.
@burnoutradio Thanks, I guess i've only done a few from a stop without holding it for a long stopped smoke show, so I didn't even know they put the nannies in the manual, ugh..

Hi there, why Nissan Z cannot do burn out? What was your burnout stratergy to confirm that it couldn't do the burn out?
I was going to buy a nismo in the future, but this is very sad if it doesn't do burn out.

to do a burnout, you need to remove the Brake Lamp fuse from the fuse box. This is how we do burnouts in our 350Zs on the dragstrip ;)
