Gotta say, love that set up. I have and OCD as well (first pedal I ever bought, got it after seeing the band Hollerado use one live) and I stack it like you do, but I use an MXR Distortion III instead. I highly recommend the OCD for not only its own versatility, but it's ability to be boosted and stacked. Sweet tone.

Interesting setup. You might consider moving your compressor to after the Envelope Filter as the compressor will prevent the filter from opening/closing when you play harder or softer..

I have a Cry Baby, a Boss DD-7, a Boss TU3 and a Dirty Rat distortion. Can anyone recommend a decent (not overly expensive) overdrive pedal and maybe a compression. Or any other pedals people would recommend. Thanks :)

@Lespaulcoolio Go for the Blackstar overdrive pedals, it's a nice tight round sound and Boss CS-2, theyre warmer than the CS-3s for some reason

@DirtyHarry95 I saw a Blackstar HT-Dual for £99 and i liked it. But i have heard they are a bit cumbersome and awkward, especially with the tube in it. I was thinking a Fulltone OCD?

@Lespaulcoolio Well yeah...ish, it's good, I would recommend getting an ibanez TS9 with whatever you're using; gives it a shinnier and warmer tubey sound kick we all need XD Check out the 'Way Huge Pork Loin' or the MXR (ZW-44) Zakk Wylde Overdrive; that thing kicks ass! Vox Joe Satriani Ice 9 Overdrive is epic too and the Electro Harmonix Double Muff, Marshal Guv'nor is nice check them all out and try them all out if possible...it really depends on which suits you best :)

@DirtyHarry95 For compressors, nothing too fancy: Boss CS-2, not exactly amazing, but it's sturdy and durable and better than the CS-3s. Also recently got a (Standard) ProCo Rat Distortion...sounds nice and isn't a rip off XD I'd check that out as it's early distortion pedal so it's similar to an overdrive-type sound. Seriously I really do recommend getting a TS9 as a boost to get your sweet spot (I have one and always will unless I can afford a TS808) Really worth the value...
