It's hard to say who is more beautiful. I would have to say that Alicia is more talented and more musically rounded, but I can't say who is more beautiful. And what's even more interesting is that both are beautiful on the inside too. Both are very philanthropic and aware of their rolls as role models and mentors of young children who may not have anyone else to admire in their lives. Kudos to both of these strong ladies.
I don't think it's right to compare artists. Each singer is beautiful and special in their own way. There's really no comparison in the type of music they do or the type of performer they are. Therefore, fans of Beyonce and Alicia Keys can appreciate both of them for their own unique style. I'm a fan of both and have been listening to both since they've started :D

No record exec ever sat them down & told them "u must dye ur hair blonde, & wear these extensions in order to cross over". They wear their hair blonde becuz its what they like. In that case why have all those women also worn black hair? brown hair? red hair? wouldnt it be easier to stay blonde? Chrisette Michelle has natural hair but she also dyed her hair blonde & she is not trying to crossover.

The dark skin/light skin has been a major issue in the black community since the days of slavery when the 1st light skinned black ppl (mulattos) were created from the whites and slaves having offsprings together. The result of the masters and slaves having sex were lite skinned curly haired children that were treated better and more accepted by white people becuz there was a sense of familiarity. *similar physical features*

Why are people arguing about being light-skinned and dark-skinned? This video has nothing to do with that, Alicia was taking about how she collaborated with Beyonce. All skin types are beautiful because beauty is beauty. My point was that they are successful becuase of their talent, their looks, not skin complexion. Skin color has nothing to do with success as an artist. It has nothing to do with being light-skinned or dark-skined. Some light-skinned or biracial artists like Amerie and Amel Lareiux are not famous, but they are very talented though. I think what matters is how the music affects people. Mary J Blige has a darker complexion and she's very successful. She's successful in the music industry because her music affects people's emotions and her voice too.
