No Fords are very ugly and unreliable. The new Fiesta looks a mess. The Focus RS is an ugly pice of shit LOL. The 500 was voted Euro Car of the Year '08 simply because it's brilliant. And soon you'll be seeing them everywhere in America so get used to it. The ABARTH 500 is even better....stunning in fact...just like all Fiat's...Italian design is the best! FORD SUCKS!!

Love the look. Can't wait for it to come to the states. Not too keen on the "alien dashboard" either. It's trying too hard to appeal to 20-somethings. My 58yr old mother saw this online and wants one now. She's tired of the old stodgy Volvo she drives and wants something sexy, fun, and efficient. Can't say I blame her.

THE NEW FIESTA BEST BY FAR!! I'm the proud owner of the New ford Fiesta. Ordered it mid Sept 08 and received it Nov 5th 08. Hot magenta is my colour (as on Advert).I had previously owned the series 6. When the New Fiesta was first released on the internet Aug 08, I knew that I had to have one. Now I have. The driving experience is fantastic for a small car. It comes with all the luxeries only found in a big exec car; but my fiesta has a lot more. Ford have finally got it right! Beautiful car.

In fact, Ford will sell in the USA the 3-door and 5-door hatchbacks along with the 4-door sedan (which was previewed in the USA some months ago). Hopefully, by the time the new Fiesta arrives (about 18 months from now) they'll offer the "Powershift" six-speed dual-clutch transmission as an option! :-)

I would agree in the past but since Ford's "Powershift" gearbox uses Getrag's excellent dual-clutch transmission technology (British reviewers LOVED the Powershift gearbox), it avoids the performance penalty you get with a conventional automatic with its power-robbing torque converter. Ford may offer paddle shifters for the US-market Fiesta, which means you can shift gears manually at least as fast as a professional driver with a conventional manual transmission.

its still an automatic with fancy paddles, trip tonic is for people who cant drive manual but wants to pretend, and i dont care if it shift faster, i drive manual becouse i want to drive And still manuals still have advantages over trip tonic. Manuals are still better on snow, manuals are easier to get out when the car stuck, manual i can select how much torque i want to put in my wheels

or live where there is alot of traffic. I like manuals also, but if you live in city where you dont have any room to stretch this cars gears out, theres no point. and the paddle shifters or manual/automatic, where you shift between using a automatic or manual, solves this problem
