No it doesn't. It says as long as they recover after a day or two. It was not an endorsement of slavery either. People kept slaves due to debts during the times this command was given. The servant was required to work to pay their debt. God works within the system of fallen man and makes allowances for the freedom and failures of mankind within that system. Hence this verse in Exodus.

If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB) I think in another version, the slave can die, but not on the first day. There is a diffrence betveen a Jewish and gentile slave. You can keep a gentile for genarations. If your a christian, slavery is holy and good.

It appears that his 'girlfriend' doesn't want to be there at all and she is a negative influence. The Pastor comes to talk with him to find out if he would like to talk about Jesus. OK, so it's not the voice you would normally associate with metal. Doesn't mean she can't sing very well, she has a classical type voice & doesn't have the "trying to scream your insides out" type of voice. She sings & I for one like it. It's different. I guess you can't handle different eh??? But to say she can't sing, I think you need to redefine what your meaning of singing is.

her voice is metal. most people associate metal with being all growling and screaming, but there is also a genre known as symphonic metal. just look at Epica, Nightwish, Leave's Eyes, Within Temptation. all of those women have the classical soprano style vocals.

I do realise that the bands genre Is symphonic metal. I was merely trying to point out that she has a classical style of singing (which fits perfectly into symphonic metal), as opposed to the screaming type of singing that the guy I was responding to obviously likes, who conveniently has deleted his own comment. He was saying that she can't sing. Well, my response to him is simply, yes she can & she does it incredibly well :)

I think what the video is saying as a whole is that IT IS TIME to make a decision to accept christ as your Saviour "NOW" & not to delay, because at the end of the clip, they are in a car accident & may have been killed & no-longer have an opportunity to accept Him as their Savoiur. NOW IS THE TIME OF YOUR SALVATION, as God's Word says. Do not put off making the most important decision you will ever make in your life, or it may be too late.

@K3v1nP3t3r It seems like the boy is torn between two worlds. One involves a relationship with Jesus, in which his sins are forgiven, and he is ready for the afterlife. The other is a life of giving in to temptation, saying no to God's love and forgiveness. When the boy leaves his cross behind, he is choosing to follow temptation, not God. The video ends, as his life on earth ends. I believe it is meant to encourage people to prepare to meet their God, since we all have to die one day.

What's hard to understand? The guy looks bored and isn't paying attention, the preacher says something to him, it upsets the kid, he and his girl leave, he mocks the cross by throwing it on the ground, and then drives off, eventually getting hit by the truck. Not saying God caused the truck to hit him, but I think the point was that if they were where they should have been, in the church with Christ, they would have been safe.

This video is about someone who used to be a Christian, and may still go to church, but is not where they need to be with God. And towards the end, the guy wanted to renew his relationship with God, but he let his friends talk him out of it.

They are unashamedly Christian, filled with honour to God, and pleas for the world to change and follow Him.

I would like to contrast this against so-called Christian bands rampant in the CCM genre whose vanilla lyrics could be about anything -- exchange the name Jesus (*if* it's mentioned) for another's, and you've got yourself a top 40 hit love-song!
