This is one of my favorite games of all time. Super Paper Mario was not nearly as good as this. The story in this game is awesome and really interesting. The train and the glitz pit are the best!!! I want to play it again soon! :)

I used to hate this game because I had a stupid fear over the Shadow Queen, but since I got over it, I love it. Heck, I felt strange when I read that prolouge about the town, and felt more strange when I was at Thousand-Year Door site, but I have gotten over all of that and am in love with this game.

Ch.3: To dang long; yoshi is beast=)!

Ch.4: Just like the last paper mario, BACTRACKING =p.

Ch.5:Love Cortez

Ch.6:SMORG!

Ch.7: 1/5 as kick ass as the last paper mario's chapter 7.

Ch.8: 8 l. This place is disturbing as F**K!!

I think Overall this is my favorite JRPG. Their was nothing in Thousand-Year door I didn't like except that one part with Tec and Peach where you had to heat a potion for 30 seconds. I messed up so many times that i actually stopped playing that game for a few weeks. I absolutely loathe that part but other than that, the game was perfect in my eyes. :]

super paper mario looks colorful, but i saw the battle style and it aint paper mario. the two originals r awsome, but gamecube games have a uniqe sense of color to them...maybe theyre not as good, maybe they r, but this game is definitely a great game!

Yeah, you kinda right, the countless references to the last game are sometimes anoying, but somehow, it also gives me the feeling, that it is still Paper Mario!

Not like Super Paper Mario, where we suddenly end up in 2D-Pixeltopia with creepy square enimies and a Navi-rip-off flying behind you, who adds "..." to every of her sentences. Oh yeah, and don´t forget the 1000 other Pixls, who have as much personality as a loly-pop! -.-

Well, OK, Gameplay wise, they are nearly twins, but the story is completly different! The thaussend years door is much more twisted and has a lot more of heart moving and surprising events! (I mean, did you see it comeing, that some Doplightghost will steal Mario´s body???)

I think both are great, but The thaussend years door has the better story... while the first one has some better partners.. ( I miss Goombario(trough Goombella is like him), Kooper, Bombette, Bow and Lakilester...)

A truely amazing game that I loved from the start. Although a short RPG in retrospect to other RPGs out there, it's very well made and has the inside jokes that I love Nintendo for.

Now if only I could skip the damn train chapter :)
