Like with I am Legend, if Sam didn't die then he wouldn't have attacked the darkseekers, he would've met Anna and Ethan, but by waiting by the pier and then some gay ending would happen because the darkseekers wouldn't have followed him and you couldn't have either endings from the movie

I don't mean to ruin your opinion on the movie but I don't see anything to explain, but they could've added more things like, what would he have done on a cloudy day because the infected dogs could come out as long as the sunlight isn't directly out on them, what happened exactly to the other soldiers who stayed in NY with him, and then they could add just a few details that don't matter to lengthen out the movie. FYI the alternate ending just changes your perspective view on the infected

The suns UV rays aren't affected by clouds. The dog's would've died. The soldiers, along with the other survivors were killed by the dark seekers, Neville explains this to Anna.

There's a cure for cancer the cancer would be the human race, so they made this antidote to cure what we thought was cancer.

But instead it made the human population into mutated freaks and then 1 man who wasn't changed by it killed em all off.

No. Heres how it went:In the begining some lady makes a cure for cancer, then when theyre "cured" they get all messed up and turn into those "zombies". then later on it infects all the people treated and spreads to everyone else just like a virus.
