  • Thats nice, but for casual riding I'd think most people who have ridden bikes without gear counters for a while just count, and then look at rpms of course.

    I notice, for myself at least that whenever I take off from a stop I'm counting in my head without even thinking.

  • I bought one of these on ebay for my 2007 cbr600rr... they suck. Don't buy it. You have to glue a magnet to your wheel because it isn't even a digital speed counter and the accuracy is terrible.

  • Thanks for the useful comment. I thought it was a speedo/rpm sensor unit the the acumen or datatool but upon future research you have to wire up a separated speed sensor to a wheel. It's great for guys with older bikes using cable speedos but I prefer a unit that picks up the digital speed signal directly from the bike. You saved me from wasting my money!
