@Yargston She had an ex boyfriend a few years back that was literally stalking her, to the point of where she had to make a public announcement about it. I think this is her way of coping. Trying to see it from his side maybe. She has alot of songs like this one.

When I hear this, I think of some one in a house holding man in her arms and stroking his hair while he cries, until the music first picks up and he struggles to get free and then runs so she says "Darling there's no sense in running". He's running through the house to escape as she sings. She finds him and says "Hands up slowly". She walks close and kisses him as she thrusts a dagger through his heart. She sings softly, stroking his hair, and looking into his bleeding pale white eyes, smiling.
