I also lived though my parents divorcing - but I was way happier when they separated then dealing with all the fighting when they were together. Divorce sucks for all parties involved and it a better option for some than staying together in a toxic environment.
I just happened to me today and I already understand that they have reasons just really imagine living with a person you hate having them as your husband/wife when they could be being abused or just don't love each other a good parent would just not be too far away from the other so that the kids aren't to affected
