fuck I am such a noob...i thought that you only had to kill the zombies with the red arrows on their heads...and i could only get like 170 points...after watching this video i got like 245 kills :P

Here's another tip: the game can only handle so many infected in area at one time, so while you may not get any points for killing the common infected you should still wipe out large groups of them as to make room for the special infected (the ones you kill for points) to spawn in. Use this tip to make the special infected spawn more often and in larger groups.

I dnt know how you did it dude but they ain't spawning like that for me :( you got luck in your game cause they all over the place in mine but the groups are more spread out further away making it harder to get to platinum...

Wow, this is pretty amazing. All the other tips didn't really help, but I was amazed at how many infected respawn in those spots when you're not watching them. I went from getting 241 TOPS before watching this video to 330. You rock!

this video is not real if you have played the game before you should notice that the bar for the kills only has the lines through it AFTER you get that medal and in this video that is incorrect.

@XXPhantom117 No it's real, I re-recorded this event multiple times before posting. The very 1st thing I did when recording these video was record the introduction to the event separately. That way if I had to do an event multiple times I could splice in my best run without having to let the intro run through all the way. I did a complete run of the event with 269 but wanted a higher score before posting. Follow the kill count at the top right during the video I'm not insane enough to fake that.

if you're having trouble then try this:

work your way towards the nearest red hive areas on your map by air dashing into groups then hitting attack and then charging your special sweep. the charge takes longer, but it reaches further and allows more infected to gather around you. while you're charging the special, swing the camera around 360degrees or so, causing even more infected to spawn in front of you. hope this helps.

Thank you very much. My top score was 198 after about a dozen attempts, I did maybe 5 more after watching this, got 315. Awesome.

All those wondering about doing it on normal or hard for more spawns; not true I don't think. I did that on 'easy'.

Here's a very handy trick: Enemies only spawn where you *can't* see, so as to avoid obvious pop-ins. If you keep moving forward, you'll run out of things to kill quickly. But if you pan the camera downwards while killing, and jump back and forth, as it were, you'll end up with lots more zombies packed together. It's pretty much impossible without doing this.

I had once a 246 score and I can't reach this again no matter what I do, there are never enough infected to get this damn score of 350 kill and everywhere around the area are parking fucking cars so there is no place for larger infected groups, this event is insane! fucking lame -.-

Why is everybody complaining? This event is incredibly easy.

Ignore the infected that are marked, just go into crowds of infected civilians and do a normal attack followed by a heavy attack, you'll do the Street Sweeper move and kill everybody around you. The infected civilians are worth one point each.

After the first crowd, turn around and run a bit until you find another. And then after you wipe out that crowd, turn around again and the first crowd should have respawned.

I just got my platinum a minute ago after 3 hours of playing. I've got scores over 245 at least 10 times, it was sooo frustrating. These past few hours were the most frustrating moments of this year for me. Then I got 276 when I finally got platinum. :)

This event sucks. Your success depends on how many enemies the game engine spawns during the time it takes to complete it.

It's lame how it requires no skill and just pure luck like a lot of Kill/War events in the game.

If I've completed an event, such as this one with a score that surpasses the platinum medal before unlocking any platinum missions, will I still have to achieve the needed amount when I activate that event once I'm able to perform the platinum ones?

If you can score platinum on the events before unlocking it. You DONT have to redo the events. Once you've gotten gold on all the events the game will announce that you've unlocked the platinum medals and will give you the medals and EP for the ones you've already earned the proper scores for.

In order to acquire platinum medals, you have to achieve gold medals in all events first. Then the event screen will show you what you need for the platinum medal.

You have to get the street sweeper upgrade for your whipfist. Once you do that, at least for the PC version, you have to push attack button (left mouse button) followed by the special button (right mouse button)
