DAM IT! How come I can't do that, I've been doing Blender for over 12 months now... I did it regularly! I do tutorials, read blender books, I try so hard to make quality stuff and yet I can't seem to get past basic looking things.... *sigh* ... I just wish I could do that cool stuff...

dude most of the work here is presented by huge animation and effects houses like, blur, not individuals.

most year but look up a guy called Liam Kemp he made it on his own and his stuff is amazing

Exactly, it would take one individual 500 years to render any of that on a single computer anyway let alone the actual modelling, animation etc.

man... Try maya, i use it and I've used it for a while, it rocks and it is actually used for almost ny hyperreal specialfx for movies, combined with ZBrush. check my vids out too :D

Blender? Never heard. Just stick with it and part of your problem is that you might be trying too hard
