  • The grace that bounds from the pain these dancers endure... Unbelievable

  • Brava!al diaco shere mos pas de deux fantastico!

  • at 3:20 the girl at the front turned the wrong way... :( oops oh well its still looks beautiful

  • @TheLovelylula she madea wonderful recovery though, i barely noticed it

  • @CVWriter08 it actually took me three watches to see which turn they were talking about!

  • gotta do this in a year

    :S

  • He should be wearing a white powder wig

  • semplicemente stupendooo *O*

  • this would be better without barbie and ken there

  • uzasne, magnificent!!!

  • It's a nightmare to dance, but I love it still. :)

  • So beautiful, delicate and perfect! A joy to watch!

  • So, in fact, it is interesting that people note similarity between this dance and Swan Lake. White scenes of Swan Lake were created by Lev Ivanov (NOT PETIPA!). It was Lev Ivanov who staged the first version of Nutcracker which was forgotten. But there are rumours that this Vassily Vainonen's version of the dance of snowflakes may embed something from the famous dance staged by Ivanov.

  • I said because of Fiodor Lopukhov because it was him who created a new version of this ballet in early 20s. Because of revolution during which the theatre was under a threat of complete dissolution (!) when no stagin was kept, and because of Lopukhov's version later, Ivanov's version became obsolete and stopped being danced and forgot competely. But Lopukhov's version was not successful either.

  • According to memoires, one of the most famous and wonderful scene of Lev Ivanov's staging was the dance of snowflakes. Some say that Vassily Vainone could embed something from Ivanov's version into this snowflake's dance. But there is no firm evidence to it.

  • I love the Tchaikovsky's compozitions

  • what I would do to have the talent of any one of the ballerinas in this production!

  • @burtv1610

    Practising?

  • @burtv1610 be born by different parents. talent is what you begin with skill is hard work to make yourself better

  • @themiguelman Technically skill isn't hard work to become better, it's being better.. I'd rather say taking something as a hobby makes you talented, but taking it as an art makes you skilled :)

  • Happy wintergreetings to all human`s in the world !

This ballett and the musik from tschaikowsky are like flowers of art`s,such beauty satisfy deeply the mind and lightens up the soul in this dark winterseason.Thank´s for downloading ,this tresure makes me happy today.

  • A lot of movements come from swan lake...it's funny to see them in the nutcracker :)

  • well granted marius petipa was the original choreographer for both of them, that's why they are so similar...

  • @bwoodsfinest Marius Petipa NEVER staged Nutcracker! The first was the staging of Lev Ivanov, the same choreographer who staged all white scenes of Swan Lake. That staging had superb scenes (according to memoires) but nothing was saved. Because of revolution and Fiodor Lopuhkov (that one who inspired Balanchine). This is Vassily Vaionen's staging of 1934.

  • amazing!!! the choreography and the costumes it was a really good job

  • wow, i absolutely love the costumes!

our school's going to perform nutckracker in june and i'm gonna be a snowflake too.

    yay :P

    great video!

  • perform the nutcracker in june???

    why not in december???

  • good question actually. we performed the nutcracker before already, and that was in december :)but this time it didn't work out with the theatre :)

  • WOW!!! The dancers did an amazing job. Someone that isn't a dancer may not apreciate that but it is hard to dance that well and at the same time too! The snow scene is my favorite and I think it was great! The costumes and choreography were great too although the ending wasn't amazing.
