Forgive me for being a bit cynical concerning Bob Merwin, 'mmay'. There were many pseudonyms used for vocalists on various record company labels in the '20s and early '30s, it's hard to tell who's "real" and who used an alias...

FYI, Bob Merwin was a real guy. When I was researching the Indiana Five some years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Bob Merwin, Jr., and he provided a great deal of information about his late father.

Recorded in April 1929, with "Bob Merwin" as the vocalist. Harry Salter later created and produced "STOP THE MUSIC" (THE most popular musical "jackpot" game show on radio in the late '40s) and "NAME THAT TUNE" (equally successful on TV in the '50s); he also conducted the orchestras on both. He died in 1984 at the age of 85.
