China manipulates its currency to meet its GDP objectives year after year after year to the number! Infrastruture spending is done of course by thChina Govt. Average income is around $6k annually. All of these "Govt projects" are $100K and above per apt in the city requiring 50% down and the balance paid in 3 to 5 years on a $6k salary per citizen. Where is the govt giving what to who? The poor have never had control of any nation or govt, and none fight for economic reasons, more for liberty.

Unlike the west where government owns almost nothing, the Chinese government owns a lot of businesses and wealth. Unlike the west where the development is left solely to individuals and corporations, China can actively participate and plan for its growth and development because it has the resources to do so. That's why the western model doesn't apply to China fully.
In the west the rich can withhold their money and the poor can't do anything about it. China can spend it on its people.

Business may expand beyond their economic means thinking that the government may continue to give preferential treatmeant or fund them. This can cause businesses to become overleveraged and insolvent. Not to mention the issue with bribes. I don't think this is unique problem with China.
