  • This is the song that you should be promoting!

  • Everyone: This is an excellent fantasia on Pachelbel's Canon in D. Initially, the melody if heard on the the piano, and later the base playing the Canon progression. Superb piece of adapted music.

  • ......he looks like jim carey......

  • until today always one of the best.

  • you wouldnt believe it then, if someone said they would go on to record 'Stayin Alive'

  • its a brillant song - no doubt

  • Is he lip-syncing?

  • @moshehim No. This is studio audio overlayed on a live performance. The real live version was put up by user austvarchive if you want to listen. It's pretty good and better vid qual.

  • @Mayortwilleger Thanks. I see what you mean, I think.

If this (2-e8QjU2WRM) is the video you're talking about.

  • They were so damn CUTE!!!!

  • shit they r so fukin young holy fuk

  • Barry Gibb is the coolest friggen' dude alive! LOVE HIM!

  • I think this is just an absolute gem and so glad I came across it. I think what I love most about the Bee Gees is every time I log on here I come across new and awesome stuff.....always something different and exciting. I try to share stuff that I know people aren't aware of, like this. Loved it!

  • catchy song!

  • Das ist OK!

  • Im 14 and im totally in love this song.

  • maddest clip.. bit of a worry in the plane tho..

  • 1966 Oo sht!

  • I worry about kids today, they have no balls.

  • Thanks so much. It disappears from You tube, and it reappears, thanks to people like you!

  • They were just adorable. So young.

  • I just love this song! How cute was/is Barry! Love the pants!

  • @margoRockerett I know, I love the pants too. I also love the way he performs this song with such a sweet, boyish innocence,

  • Great video!!

  • This was their first hit! "Speeks end Spicks"

  • taeng mga buhok yan parang mga burat lang!

  • I've always loved this one song from the Bee Gees. It's complicated in its own simplicity. This always makes me instantly happy :))

And you've gotta love the weird clips from the sixties <3

  • Since writing under my other name of GolfMan have managed to contact someone who can locate the tracks. Managed also to buy the VHSs from Amazon. All I need now is to transfer onto DVD. Magic track

  • I was 16 on this time!

    Greatings from Holland!

  • @Frans441 First time I heard this song I was five...I'm now 18 xD Greetings from a fellow Dutchy :)

  • Glorious in it's simplicity

  • Thanx for note. This series was on UK TV at least 16/18 years ago about a sister ( Nicole Kidman ) who saw her brother go to war ( this was an Australian TV production ) there was loads of 50/60s music played over the series - great production

  • @TheGolfman84 I remember this, too. It was what they'd call a "miniseries" in the late 1980s...

  • I remember this as one of the theme tunes to 'Vietnam' on telly. Saw for the first time Nicole Kidman in this 10? part series many years ago. Had to buy the vinyl after that. Great clip. Anyone know where one can get hold of all the tracks played on this great series.?

  • @TheGolfman84 There was a series on telley called Vietnam? When you say telly do you mean television or is telly something else? What country was it that had this series?

  • So Awesome, thanks for posting this rare piece of musical history. This was the #1 song the year I was born!

  • Simple song, but helped change the face of Aussie music. Great tune for its time and now.

  • Maurice was good-looking too, Robin is - well, let's just say - different-looking. Barry was more "hunky" but Mo certainly was not ugly. I wouldn't call Robin ugly, just unconventional looking. Maurice was gorgeous around this time, with less facial hair (the same with Barry, I prefer him clean-shaven).

  • @Muirmaiden I think that Mo actually looked his best towards the end of his life and maybe before he had the facial hair when he was young, but I've never seen what he looked llike then. As for Robin, I don't mean to be cruel but I can't help thinking that he was always pretty homely. Not that it matters, he's still a great guy. I just think his looks are pretty bad. But then again, I'm cetainly no pinup girl, myself. So maybe I nobody to judge. Who knows?

  • Barry was really a goodlooking guy for a long time. I never liked the look he had later on in the 70s, because it was just too much hair for me, but he always had nice features. Was he ever a heartthrob any time during their career, or did he always just basically blend in with the rest of the group? No offense, but I always thought Robin and Maurice were pretty ugly, even though they were still great entertainers/musicians. But Barry had the looks to have had the leading man status.

  • @stitchesful ok, i believe that you love Barry, but you can't say something like that about Robin and Maurice. I love Robin and many other girls love him too, so...... i respect also Maurice, he was pretty guy too.

  • @martina1982ful I never said I didn't respect Robin and Maurice. Like I said, they also were still very talented. I just don't think that they were goodlooking. But I can understand where you and many other girls would still love them. I didn't say I didn't love them. But when it comes to looks, I just don't think they had what Barry did.

  • @martina1982ful Yeah, Robin is different looking, but I have just fallen head over heels for him. He had some dental work in the early 70's I think - and the more I look at him the better looking he gets to me! Also, Maurice really did age well. He was very very handsome those last few years b4 he died....I read that all 3 brothers had quite a bit of sibling rivalry going and I don't doubt it....I was a late bloomer myself and had (well still have) a very very pretty sister who was a cheerleader

  • @999marydoll if you have any doubts, check the LP separation in 1970.robin made a solo Lp "Robins Reign"and Barry&Maurice made "Cumber Castle" they reunited in 71 but robin went on to make several solos.so much talent is hard to contain.who can resist Barry singing Massachusets.say that fast 3 times!
