What I really don't get about these characters is WHERE THE HELL DID THEY LEARN ALL THAT?!? I mean, Bruce Wayne is a millionare orphan who decided to become a superhero in his late 20s, Barbara is in high school (in this version at least), Harley Quinn (from BTAS) was a phycologist and Robin is in his early teens. And suddenly Bruce Wayne is a tough guy who can beat the crap outta people, Barbara is a little version of Batman, Harley is an acrobatic phyco-clown and Robin's like Batgirl. 0_0

@KhedK Well it was fairly dark. Really I think the creators wanted to do something different than the original Batman cartoon. So they created something good, but they just really didn't get the real formula right. I think it was a pretty fresh approach to make them younger and I did like that. This show had three problems really. One not dark enough. Two it seemed to go overboard on super powers. Three none of the characters were as interesting or as good. Biggest is the Joker.

@Charlesperalo Well one of the people from Jackie Chan Adventures worked on this so you can see that effect. Their Joker interpretation is just different intake on Joker's insanity contrast to TAS/aka Comic Joker insanity. I actually liked Penguin in this series overall a lot more than the Penguin in TAS.

@321zigzag1 I can agree with you on the Penguin. And I agree they tried something new with the Joker and it worked to some degree. Just doing another Joker like before wouldn't of done it. Really I think they should of just went for a darker joker and dropped the whole acid story.

@Charlesperalo Indeed. Penguin in TAS especially towards the end wearied me out too quickly. The different Penguin made me like him a lot better minus the interesting intake of Devito's penguin. Acid is the "classic" thing lol. Well there are two things this joker did better. Superior martial arts and he actually dressed as the bat. As great Hamil's joker is, you don't see him doing that. Also the different joker was better than brave and the bold's joker in my opinion.

@321zigzag1 Well the Joker isn't suppose to be strong he's suppose to be driven just by insanity. The thing is the acting wasn't there, it was a bit cartoonish and his plots and story lines were terrible. Also I didn't feel evil coming from his writing. Now for Penguin it was a poor move to model it off of Devito's poor performance in the Batman Returns.

@Charlesperalo The cartoonish feel was all over in that show. But I give credit to batjoker for its worth. In the comics, it sort of varies at times how well Joker holds his own in the comics. Usually he can't. but sometimes different writers have him hold his own. Its not the really evil part they were focusing on. Its just pure different literal insanity hence like Batjoker. You didn't like Devito's penguin? This show's penguin is a likely fusion of 3 not just Devito.
