I went to my Harley dealer and bought Front Directional Relocation Kit part # 68643-09 Gloss black for $28.95.. I uncrewed the lower triple tree and just screwed in the new part. You can also place them on the upper triple tree. I did not have to cut any wires just remove the front light to guide the wires to the new location.
@ambielyn76 Is this a bike you would recommend to a beginner rider? I like to go on long trips, because I live in southern Ontario and I'm going on a bike trip to British Columbia next summer, would this be a good bike stock to take on a long trip like that? Does it get good gas milage? How often would it need to be serviced if I was using it 5+ hours a day?? Was it worth the money??
@ambielyn76 Do the quiet baffles make a difference? Do they sound any deeper? I believe mine are stock, but I did purchase my bike used. I am going to pick up some turn signal relocators tomorrow. The stock location is horrible especially after flipping the mirrors.
@ambielyn76~Wow, not bad. I live in Canada, so this bike would probaly cost me about $8,860 without any taxes, how much do you think it would be with taxes and all that? Are the doc charges and sales tax the same at all Harley dealers? Even in Canada? I really want this bike but I only have $10k Canadian cash... btw, I like the re-location of the signals, not so sure about the mirrors... could you take them off and do another video showing what they look like?? Thanks in advance.
I am not one who says Harley over Honda... this is why I went with an iron...When you walk into a Harley dealer its very classy.. the entire experience was awesome.. I asked 100 questions and my salesman "Bob" was eager to answer all of them. I looked at Honda's as well and I didnt care for the plastic parts, mine are metal. Lastly as I have mentioned in previous posts "sit at a light or at a parking lot or bar" and see the attention this bike gets... I am 100% pleased with my bike.
How much was this bike with taxes, freight, and all that? I have about 10k and I was think about getting this one... or a Honda Shadow Phantom. I would buy the Honda brand new but I was wondering if I should buy a brand new Iron 883 or get a used one with 2k miles on it for 8.5k?
nice bike..
I'm planning to get one and trade in my sports bike.. is it a good ride and comfy?

Did you really just start a motor vehicle in an enclosed space? Good thing this video was only 4:08. If it were 4:38, you'd be dead
