Jindal has cut funds for education, medical care for mental patients, AIDS patients and has established an ADAP (AIDS drug assissted programs) waiting list assuring Louisianans that his term as governor will cost them more lives than any other governor in the history of La.
He is a ruthless, politician that cares not for the plight of good, hard working people.
i lived in LA for years and jindal has earned a reputation as a good (if young) politician, as a congressman, then governor. and a far cry from the edwin edwards' and david vitters and huey longs who symbolize LA politics. i say McCain/jindal would be THE republican dream ticket. i think that jindal would make the republican ticket much more competitive. and i offer this prediction. i say that whoever wins there will not be a ticket from either party w/ 2 white men on it again for a LONG time.
jindal will not be on mccain's ticket, and the reason is simple.
mccain has very little to fight on facing obama, but one thing he has (and it is probably his strongest argument) is obama's youth and inexperience in washington.
of course, standing next to jindal, obama appears to be a senior vet of washington, so with jindal on the ticket, that would be the end of mccain's best (and perhaps only) argument against obama.
jindal is 36 and has served in elected office for only 3 years.
