sorry, but i also think this year is one of the worst. but this is a trend going on for years. every year more and more countries start singing in english, and the flair of esc and the countries competing is gone.

they should return to the old system where you had to sing in your mother tongue, that would be more interesting, at least for me...

It is better this year, already more countries sing in their own language compared to the last years (Slovenia, Macedonia, Portugal,...) I think the best would be that half of the song needs to be done in one of the national languages. But by doing that, you give an advantage to Ireland, the Uk and Malta, so it wouldn't be fair.
