CLASSIC ARS..the greatest most under-appreciated Southern Rock band ever! If these boys had been in LA they would have been as big as the EAGLES! RIP Ronnie Hammond. Damn we miss you J.R & Barry...you sirs are the REAL DEAL!
My very favorite song (and live performance) by Ronnie & ARS. This is actually from the "Are You Ready" live double album. That's Ronnie strumming the acoustic guitar, which was rare for him as he was usually busy strutting onstage fronting the band..and this song & Ronnie's exquisite, elegiac vocals & understated performance were never more beautiful in all their subtlety..as is the band and Barry's solos..also a rare departure from their blistering blues rock jams. What a sublime, aching song
