There are gory scenes troughout the film, but not constantly. They are quite brutal, and very bloody, but there have been more graphic images in similar films before, e.g. Saw etc. The rape scene - it's not really the rape itself, but the silence immediately after that makes it disturbing I think.
that's why i rarely leave me house, especially because im pretty small, im a 16 year old girl. when i do leave, i make sure were at least a group of three.

it was a very intense movie. the rape scene was almost too hard to watch. made me sick to my stomach, but it definatly kept you on the edge of your seat.

Did anyone ELSES girl walk out of the theater during the rape scene? Mine did and she was pissed at me for wanting to stay. Later I explained to her that it wasnt the rape scene that had my attention, I wanted to find out what happened to Krug, Francis and Sadie. Sure as shit, they got there's!

When I saw it in the theaters ( with my guy friend), we were all terrified. The deaths and rape scenes are very intense.
I really liked Justin, so itocinte and a little cute.

It's a horror movie. They have horror movies all over the world. And it could be seen as a warning against a 17 year old dumbass going into someone's hotel room OR hanging out with a drug head.

@mameluk89 Have your ever seen "Bandit Queen?" That's an Indian movie with extensive rape. How about "Irreversible?" That's a French movie with one of the longest rape scenes ever made. Every country has movies like this. We punish rape here. Go to some places in the middle east and if there aren't 4 witnesses, the GIRL gets punished. Until recently high castes in India could rape low caste women with no consequences. Rape is not a purely American problem.

This movie was awesome,it has everything what moderate horror needs but it's not too much disguisting.Interesting story, good acting,intense,good death scenes-the last one was my favorite because it's original and sick.i give it 8 out of 10!

Sure they shouldn't have gone with a boy they just met, but that doesn't equal what was done to them. It is completely unexcusable.

It's her fault for going with someone she doesn't know. I never said she deserved to be raped. By saying they weren't at fault is like saying they would have gotten raped if they didn't go with him. We are taught at a young age, don't talk to/go with strangers. If they didn't go, it wouldn't have happened. That's common sense.

no, not at all. it's got like just some killing scenes but not like disgusting gore, like other movies. there's a rape scene thats like fucked up though.

There are gory scenes troughout the film, but not constantly. They are quite brutal, and very bloody, but there have been more graphic images in similar films before, e.g. Saw etc. The rape scene - it's not really the rape itself, but the silence immediately after that makes it disturbing I think.
