If the Lakers prioritize defense over offense, and bring the game down to a 80-90 point game, then the Lakers are going to take it. The Nuggets are all about offense, with some defense, but they like to score, so if Lakers want to win, they need to focus on defense.
Kobe will always do decent, but he needs another team mate to help put 20+ on the boards every night.

What a game. Melo did all he could 2 win the game & Chauncey Billups hit 2 huge 3's within the last 2 mins. of the game. Trevor Ariza made a huge steal @ the end, but that was a lazy pass that shouldn't have been made anyway. Kobe came up big in the 4th qtr-(18 4th qtr pts.). Kenyon Martin left the game, which was a shame because eventhough K-Mart committed some dumbass fouls, he was a defensive force in the paint-(along with Chris Andersen). I hope Game #2 is half as good as Game #1 was, Wow...

This was like Magic-Celtics series Game 4. Magic was in the lead for most of the games. Celtics came close, but could never take the lead and hold it. Then in the last few minutes Celtics finally regain the lead and wins in a close game. Nuggets was Magic, Lakers was Celtics (in Game 1 atleast).

If the Lakers prioritize defense over offense, and bring the game down to a 80-90 point game, then the Lakers are going to take it. The Nuggets are all about offense, with some defense, but they like to score, so if Lakers want to win, they need to focus on defense.
Kobe will always do decent, but he needs another team mate to help put 20+ on the boards every night.

By decent, I mean decent. Decent just means he does what he has to do. Great, is him doing what he has to do, and more. By more, I mean Kobe getting triple doubles, or scoring 30+ every game, etc...
Kobe does his job, that's all I'm saying. He just needs another player or more to stay decent like him. If he doesn't get one, then Denver could take this to a game 7 and in a game 7. Only defense matters. Lakers play decent D every now and then. Not every night.

What a game. Melo did all he could 2 win the game & Chauncey Billups hit 2 huge 3's within the last 2 mins. of the game. Trevor Ariza made a huge steal @ the end, but that was a lazy pass that shouldn't have been made anyway. Kobe came up big in the 4th qtr-(18 4th qtr pts.). Kenyon Martin left the game, which was a shame because eventhough K-Mart committed some dumbass fouls, he was a defensive force in the paint-(along with Chris Andersen). I hope Game #2 is half as good as Game #1 was, Wow...

This was like Magic-Celtics series Game 4. Magic was in the lead for most of the games. Celtics came close, but could never take the lead and hold it. Then in the last few minutes Celtics finally regain the lead and wins in a close game. Nuggets was Magic, Lakers was Celtics (in Game 1 atleast).
