IMHO his greatest vocal ever. Sung with as much soul and feeling as any artist ever black or white. Some people think Elvis was a cover artist that ripped off the great black R&B artists. But when you hear him wail "been too loney too long" it's obvious that nobody on earth could match his vocal abilities. Forget about the looks, sex and all that crap. Elvis in 1958 was simply the greatest rock and blues vocalist ever. Yes blues too. He'd cut anybody to shreds. After 1960 was another story.
