I really doubt we're descendants of an alien life form, there is tons and tons of factual information that shows we evolved from simple creatures, and life forms are being generated constantly on this planet, So the 'need' for a bacteria is stupid. What's more likely is another civilization has visited many times, and may be viewing earth... But even that is far out.
@TheSashC There's approximately 160 billions planets in the Milky Way in the same zone as Venus, Earth or Mars. I would say the odds is against us being alone. Who knows if another life form is evolving with the same speed as us or even 10x the speed and for them 2012 was 10.000 years ago. It's not hard to think we might be one of the the less evolved species in the universe. The famous 'missing link' where homo sapiens just arose out of nowhere is still a mystery.
It's pretty evident that there are other organisms or even civilizations in the milky way. But to assume that life on earth was 'seeded' or that some extraterrestrial civilization had relations with humans in antiquity...
It's an intriguing possibility, but the evidence just isn't there.
The Controllers own The History Channel. While I think it takes an extremely narrow-minded person to think there is no other intelligent life in this Universe, these controllers want us to see this for a reason....and we'd better not be thinking it's for anything to benefit us.
How do they know that rocks got here from Mars? How did these rocks escaape the gravity of Mars? Why is it not more likely that these rocks came out of deep space or the asteroid belt? To say a rock that falls from space is from one particular planet or another seems like wild conjecture on thier part to me.
This video isn`t excatly true because if any of you actually christansyou`ll know god put us here.,

likelihood of aliens ever visited/visiting earth 0%.
likelihood of alien civilisations out there 99.9%
likelihood of humans ever finding out if we are in fact not alone before we become extinct 0%

Given enough time, an entire planet could be spawned from rotten fruit and mammal dung. Really fascinating isn't it...
