So i walked in not knowing plastikman was richie hawtin. And all i see is this and im like god damnnnnnnnnnn this is an insanely long into. Then im like yeah this isnt an intro haha. But i gotta say the hour that i saw him before i had to go was probably the best hour of coachella as far as music goes. He just destroyed that place. Its SUPER rare that he does his plastikman shows

@HighlyIsnae999 i was trying to trip for orbital and gorillaz so i took a tab and some ecstasy a few hours before this. i didn't know much about plastikman or minimal techno, but i figured i'd check it out. all i can say is that this set changed everything i knew about music. easily the best live performance i have ever seen. i honestly hope that i can experience something like that again; the darkness of the sahara and the intimacy between us and richie, extremely powerful experience i must say

standing at the back end of the ravetent

while that bass was just slamming the shit out of us

it actually was a perfect ending for coachella

cos i had to roll out right after richie's set cos i had to be at work

This guy made my freaking weekend. I knew he would. Subby 33: if you stayed longer than 20 minutes this guy would have to start blowing your mind. Starts off slow and by the end of the set it was straight raging. Minimal!!!!!!

I saw this set for 20 minutes, and left. I couldn't get into it. I guess I'm just not into the style? Everyone was raving about it, but I didnt see it. I thought BassNectar was the best Sahara act this year.

Well its called minimalist techno. I can see why alot of people dont like it but i think its brilliant. He starts his tracks with very few sounds so that when a new sound is added it makes a huge difference. He also teases the shit out of you with build ups and what not. To each their own
