  • I've seen Yes a few times but this was a first with the classic line-up and the best, one of the best, possibly the best show I've ever seen. The small crowd made for an intimate experience and I've never seen any band this chilled. The crowd doesn't look that interested but Yes is a cerebral experience and this crowd was tuned in. And what a crowd, Elvises, guys in naked suits, fashion police and the next generation, a kid on someone's shoulders really into it... and proper, exceptional Yes!

  • the best!!!!alan white is the man...chk out his new cd w/ tony levin, and david torn..Fantastic!!!!and by the way..pls get the real Yes back.......

  • healing vs learning

torn siberian the distance of man

  • One of the main reasons Yes is one of my all-time favorite bands is definitely because during their greatest era, and most other eras, their solid lineup of musicians have all been virtuosos at their instrument, including Jon. I mean, Wakeman, Bruford (White is great, too), Anderson, Howe, and Squire?!?!?! Its amazing the music they make......

  • @bbout19 don'r forget Moraz

  • @RufiRufian Patrick Moraz was definitely a good replacement for Wakeman, in my opinion. Relayer is amazing, and the keyboard parts are great.

  • @bbout19 that's right ;), nothing like Gates Of Delirium, what an insuperable master piece

  • Rick Wakeman - without a doubt, the very best.

  • lol hi squiggy

  • this proves that old farts can still jam!

  • IN YES WE TRUST.

  • Where was this? I doubt Yes would play to an American venue like that. Yes is larger than life.

  • Squire on bass is a monster!

  • Sunday afternoon at Glasto, we were all spaced out after being there four days, not much energy left for Yes but they were fantastic!

  • as much as i love yes...sorry but this version is just too relaxed...

  • GREAT BRO !!!!!!

  • You can thank psychedelics for their mystical inspired lyrics.

  • How the F does Wakeman play that solo?

  • Damn that crowd is fucking lame.

I would be all into that shit.

This is like my favorite Yes song they are just standing there like omg this music is too technical for my feeble mind, except for that one kid on someones shoulders he gets it he must be a genius.

  • I was there man, i was there...

  • are they some kind of gods?

  • The gods of Music

  • No Bruford though.

  • I wonder if they ever had a Stadiums tour. I know they have played stadiums before, but I wonder if they ever went for the big money like other bands like Genesis, U2, the Stones and so on.

  • I saw them twice at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. They played three nights straight and I had two tickets for two nights seating Floor 11th row from the stage and 2nd night 16th row from the stage. Awesome is what I can describe it. It was the Going for One tour. They had a revolving stage and the Garden was packed. Over 20,000 people. I also saw Led Zeppelin there for one night. Also another epic concert after the release of Physical Graffiti Tour.

  • On teh relayer Tour in 1974 or 1975 they played some stadiums. The most notable was JFK stadium in Philadelphia (where the American version of Live-Aid was later held) and they drew over 100,000.

  • Get out of here! Wow! 100.000?! . I wouldn't mind being in my fifties now (not that there's anything wrong with being fity), if I would had had the opportunity to see Yes and Genesis in their prime. First time I saw them was with the Big Generation and Invisible Touch tours... :7(

  • Why are they playing the ending of the Firebird by Stravinsky? it's pretty cool though.

  • They allways play that piece right before they start their shows.

  • They always play the Firebird ending before every show. I saw them for the first time in 1978, and then for their 35th anniversary, and that was what was played...hmmmm interesting! :P

  • I was at this gig, it was amazing, trust me (grown men crying and all that). At first the crowd was fairly thin, so I got a good spot near the front. By the end, I turned round and the field was full, and the band got a fantastic reception, rightly so - of course! Even Wakeman looked like he was enjoying it! To see Yes play at Glastonbury was, for me, so special - it was perfect. And this year I got to see Neil Young play there as well! Wonderful. Thanks so much for posting these...

  • Como el vino los malditos, Para mi que cada uno despues de un concierto se mete en unos frascos gigantes con vino. No hay otra explicacion.

  • Siberian Khatru is STILL my FAVORITE Yes song of all times!!!

  • Steve slow on everything these days

    Not just intro

    He about 75 year old

    Yet spot on

  • Actually, he's in his early sixties.

  • Keyboards at 1:14 are gross.

  • Siberian Khatru

sinceramente la siento algo moderna para la época en que salió con Close to the Edge

muy buena, me encanta esta canción

  • Very strange that Steve plays the intro so slow...the re-intro also. I don't get it. It should RIP!!!! He played it a lot more aggressively on this last "In The Present" tour.

  • But he's something like 100 years old now ahah! Just kidding, I love them, and I wish I were there...

  • Chaosmatict song. Beautiful. Afternoon... Principal stage.?

    No. but it is YES

    YES!

  • Love this song, love this performance. I like that Alan White doesn't stray much from Bruford's original drumming.

  • all musician in this band is in very high level.

  • Ozric Tentacles,Jade Warrior, Magma, Eat Static, System 7, Lost at Last, Gong, Mother Gong.

  • STEVE HOWE IS GOD

  • This show is being released on DVD.

  • Not sure whether it deserves 7/8 or 8/8. Maybe it's 15/8. Great to see these Glastonbury recordings - thanks for posting.

  • what about a 800/8?

  • Excellent pun.

  • It is 15/8, at least for the intro (3 bars of 4, one of 3). The rest of the song is in 4 except when the intro theme is repeated.

  • oh I sorry ,

    it`s a nice video

    sorry

  • you are very stupid. How you can film rick wakeman cris squire when is the solo of Steve Howe.really i don´t understand you

  • I don't know why everyone thinks I filmed this myself...it's a pretty well known bootleg that I obtained via bittorrent. And yes, the person that recorded it obviously was not very familiar with Yes. In this entire show there's maybe 5 mins of solid Steve Howe footage...very disappointing. But I'm trying to upload everything I have, and some people do appreciate it.

  • reading between the lines, are you a bit of a yes-head? great to see all these posts btw :-)

  • @matic3060 All of you in the audience are very, very fortunate to have seen Yes playing together!

  • Its Chris Squire, dimwit.

  • Let's see your video of this concert, because clearly it will be much better.

  • Awesome! Any more of this performance? They went down really well at Glasto according to my friend Alice who saw them (but not according to the NME - like their opinion matters).

Hope I can catch 'em on the tour that will (hopefully) be happening this year.

  • Just check out my channel. Have the entire performance as well as several others.

  • yes!!!

  • Fantastic. My favorite Yes song.

  • Chris Squire looks awesomly cool as always ;D

  • Hey, this may be a slower version but it's just MY speed! LOL. I'd ok to slow down a bit...so long as you don't stop! :) Yes RAWKS! LC

  • Yes Rocks. Very slow version, but still awesome.

  • Wakeman is cool

  • Nice

  • Thanks for adding this much sought after footage!!!!

    The Yesfans will be happy!!!!
