I remember in an interview later, Norwood said Lindros was so big & strong it was like wrestling a bear.....too bad Lindros never lived up to the hype
well as everyone can see with concussions to crosby and giroux and pronger, etc....its more than just skating with your head up, the NHL needs to do more to protect the players
Lindros,in his very first fight, demonstrated how he cared about his teammates and their well-being.Only paying an attention to details will show you that he was sticking up for his teammate Hynes, and we all know that he didn't have to do so.I bet my rent that Lee didn't expect fight like that.Lindros had just entered the NHL with that fight, and from there on, his dominance began.

He was smiling bc he didn't want people to think he got his ass kicked by a 18 year old lol. " I let you win" LOL then I still want a piece as the ref is protecting me LOL.
Lindros was the most dominant player in his day. But, yes after the confusions built up, he fell off the pace. But for a about 8 years there, he dominated in all aspects of the game. He could score, he could hit like no one else, and he could fight. Name another player like that in his time.
100% agreed! He dominated during his years with the Flyers. If only he would have held his head up things would have been different. Eric Lindros will always be my favorite player

Why do the flyers suck balls but they can fight really good that makes no sense
TAZ9499 1 year ago
@TAZ9499 The Flyers have had very few seasons where they suck balls. It's actually pretty common in Philly for the team to be in the playoffs.

Its all Lindros show, hes CLEAR WINNer int his one.
Lindros used well usually his hands, throwing those short but sharp right-hands mostly.
Also he could to throw a bigger punch if he wanted.
And all the guys knew he was very strong guy and BIG.
MrJuha82 1 year ago
Man if he could have stayed healthy what a monster that guy would have been. Such lost potential.

i think buddy was smiling at the end because he didn't think Lindros was that tough

Lee Norwood was smiling, as if to say "welcome to the NHL kid"
itsthatguy12 3 years ago
Norwood didn't even attempt to through a single punch. What kind of welcome is that? Welcome to the NHL kid, I'm scared to death of you?
Zaphrod88 3 years ago 3
Whatever. Norwood is 13 years older and Lindros didn't really do any damage. So, I would say he wasn't really that scared.
