  • no usan escaleras mecanicas?

  • Dios,aquello debe ser impresionante,shibuya.

  • And one more piece of information.

    Author is from Spain;

    Spanish: Tokyo = Tokio.

Tokio + metro = Tokyo city Subway.

You still do not think that it would be time to apologize? And stop pretend being smart?

  • NO time for this.

and i know im right so im not apologizing either.

defaming? lol you better study more law.

i didnt have any negative comment about the guy who posted this. if you call what im doing is defaming, you just did that too lol and also the serious crime : discrimination.

i have something else to care about in real life so im not replying anymore. and thanks, i go to school. its starting soon.

  • 6. Discrimination and being highly uneducated both morally and intellectually are two different things. Just so you know.

    7. And the way you came up with your first nasty comment against the author (as you were blind) tried to make him seem inferior.

    8. The actions you committed (nasty comment) it is legally called defamation of character. Do some research on Wikipedia.

I hope this helps you answer your questions why you should apologize to us and why you should consider going to school.

  • 1. Guy posted this add and calls it "En el metro de Shibuya. Shibuya Subway", and he does not mention each platform with serial numbers, who drove the trains at that time and so on.

    2. A "metro" is a rapid transit rail system.

    3. The subway or so called metro station has nothing to do with rails, with "JR LINE or PER in Paris, it is just STATION.

    4. EKI = Station; (eki is not JR is it? (Eki in japanese means station).

    5. There is no need to be overreacted, but its good to be responsible.

  • Ok Kento I am not sure if you do not know how to read or you dont read at all, but I will make it simpler for you to understand:

  • the difinition of "subway" on wikipedia - Subway, an underground rapid transit system also known as a metro, underground.

JR train doesnt go underground so its not subway/metro.

im not accusing this guy, im over reacted because of you, I came up with Paris metro system as it was good example.Understood?

  • vytas, there is 15 railway companies in Tokyo. Tokyo Metro and JR are one of them. JR is the biggest railway company in japan, it was owned and started by the goverment long time ago. Usually, Tokyo metro is used as travelling inside the urban area like Metro in Paris. And JR and other railway companies are used as commuting to/from the suburb area like RER in Paris. Remember we used Yamanote line? its JR, and theres only 1 more line of JR inside the Yamanote line but theres 9 Metro lines.

  • Thank you very much for a response.

Let me teach you one more definition Kento.

A "metro" is a rapid transit rail system.

  • you and i didnt mention about the definition of word it self, perhaps Tokyo Metro is a name of company so its proper noun, it doesnt have difinition because word it self refers to the meaning of Tokyo Metro. why are you obsessed over this?

  • The guy does not mean to define the company, he wants to show the Tokyo city metro system. And you coming here to criticize him that he should have called Tokyo Metro as "JR Line like PER in Paris". In fact PER is a subway/metro system as well. Or maybe lets contact the JR and ask them for serial number of the trains that we saw so we will be more accurate?

  • Just in case.. there is a description on this video: "En el metro de Shibuya. Shibuya Subway. " which mean "In the Shibuya subway", which has nothing to do with serial numbers of trains or train lines itself.

  • That is not nice to remove the things you been defending for awhile, making fun of and then try to get out without apologizing author, me and the community. Or in Japan families do not teach kids to be polite? Like Tarzan...

  • what the heck??? lol

    thats not the point.

i guess you cant defend yourself that you are right anymore?

and i removed my comment because i posted new thread by mistake, so i thought it was better remove it and post it on replys so there wont be complication.

and im sure i dont need to give an apology for anyone.

also stop descriminating japan that is not intellectual of you. so any response for my previous comment? thats the issue we were discussing about.

  • just to make sure, i undeleted it.

  • its not tokyo metro, its JR line. Like RER in paris.

  • Hmm.. how weird.... I did not know that Tokyo does not have a metro/subway. Isnt Tokyo Metro the name of the whole Tokyo subway system and that JR line is just a small subway division? IF this one is not part of the Tokyo Metro... then what is it?? I wonder what Paris has to do with Tokyo. Just some idiot with wishful thinking who tries to be intellectually superior but ends up making himself seem like such a fool.... :):)

  • The RER is an integration of a modern city-centre subway and a pre-existing set of regional rail lines. Within the city of Paris, the RER serves as an express network, offering multiple connections with the Paris Métro.

So it is Metro/Subway in Paris.

  • LOL why is it Metro/subway if u read the difinition.

"offering multiple connections with the Paris Métro."

that means its not metro but the trains that connects to Metro.

  • Well Kento what can I say.. I am happy you realized you need to go to school. But we are not discussing Paris, all we are discussing here is a subway station in Shibuya;

I appreciate your intentions in trying to teach me: the prodigy with multiple successful businesses.

But the problem is since the beginning that you have limited understanding what metro and metro station is.

  • A metro station is a railway station for a rapid transit system, often known by names such as "metro", "underground" and "subway". It is often underground or elevated. At crossings of metro lines they are multi-level.

I hope it will help you.
