Man, I miss these kinds of shows. I don't care that I'm a dude and like Degrassi, this was a great show. Love all of the earlier opening themes, don't care for the new cast ones or the newer degrassi. Never finished watching the next generation, maybe I should finish that up sometime.

In every opening, pretty much Miriam McDonald (Emma) was shown either first or first with other people. When they mixed it up for season 3 & 4 (imo best seasons!) and put Stacey Farber first... I thought that was awesome! Stacey Farber rocks in season 3 and 4 opening with that vintage recorder!!

I can understand them building off of the Junior High seasons, but this continuation after season 6 or 7 is just horrible. They've drifted so far. Just stop making it. Don't build entertainment off of an already popular name.

Regardless, I love the Degrassi Junior High and the first 5 (or so) seasons of Degrassi The Next Generation!

@melzieclark the new generation itself is built off of an already popular name And they tried to keep some of the original characters around (Snake, Spike, Joey, Caitlyn, even Mr. Raditch at the beginning) But most of them are gone. It's drifted off pretty far. Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High were the best. Degrassi isn't Degrassi without Joey Jeremiah!
