i usually have Zero, Ryu then Dante as a last resort Zero is epic for the close range and Ryu is epic for the long range hadouken and Dante is the all rounder

@Ultrox007 Using at a tourney is too fancy but it's your choice, buddy. Plus, it kills too fast. :P If you want to be fancy, learn this combo. It's pretty much the bnb combo most good Dante players use.

@Ultrox007 I play with a controller too, bro. I mastered that combo. Just keep practicing, watch videos on bold cancel tutorials and teleport cancel tutorials. Practice it on Sentinel in the corner since he has a very big hit box and you only do the bold cancel twice. Then move on to standard characters from mid screen or you starting from the corner.

@ra95035 well I'll keep practicing, but if I can't pull it off by this friday... well I still have 60% anywhere combos and 70% cornor BnB combos for all 10 of the different characters I use

(Dante Deadpool Zero are my main, but I'm also good with Hulk, Wolverine, Wesker, Sentinel, Dormammu, Taskmaster, and Amaterasu... then again, who can honestly be BAD with Ammy/Hulk lol)

@Ultrox007 Honestly, don't pull off that advance combo at the tourney. You're most likely to choke. Just do regular bnb combos since that's what mostly everyone does at tourneys. And I think you should switch up your team order. Deadpool should be first, then you could put Dante or Zero next, just so you can do the DHC trick. If you do Cuttin' Time into Devil Trigger, people will know that you aren't kidding around.

@ra95035 Normally my order is Zero, Dante, Deadpool, then I use zero's shadow close and switch for deadpool so I have a very powerful assist...

and I won't choke/can afford to do this combo just to show off on about half the people at the tourny

and at the last tourny there were about 3 people that "kinda" knew how to play, me, and about 20-25 scrubs who think you can win by mashing buttons and yelling in my ear... literally beat them one handed

I'm impressed with the string of moves strung together in this combo, especially the Vortex to H and Sky Dance. But, I'm not impressed with the combo as a whole. Using X-factor that early in ruins the combo for me, so while I'll probably try out a few things form this combo to work into my own, the combo itself is worthless. Sorry, dude, but using X-factor that early in just makes it worthless to me.

So, you do this combo, kill a single enemy charc.

More than likely, Cap would have died WITHOUT X-Factor, it was just something to do to produce more damage on that brilliant little box on the left of the screen. Tron and Sentinel both probably would have died from that combo without X-Factor, and even if they didn't, he could X-Factor at the end and produce another Hyper Combo to end it. My point, again, X-Factor wasn't necessary, but it was pretty. :)

@SkitzoControl Actually, it wouldn't have killed him without x-factor. X-factor level 1 gives a 50% damage increase and he activated it at the very beginning of the combo. Factoring in the first few hits, the total without x-factor would have been 677,950. That's a little bit over half of Captain America's life. Dante's bnbs do about that much damage with only 1 meter, and this one took 2 meters and x-factor. Way to prove you don't know what you're talking about, though. lawl

M, H, forward H, x-factor, M, H, DP+M, QCB+M & H, j, air M, air H, QCF+L, S, sj, H, DP+S, dj, QCF+H, cold shower (diagonal down H, where the body is), forward H, bold move (any attack + S), S, cold shower, QCB+L, H, (spam H), QCF+M&H.

If you don't know what these mean go to trag13's about me. QCF+H is like a hadoken, QCB+H is like the hurricane kick, and DP+M is like the shoryuken. Hope this helps.

Not a sword ground bounce. That's Cold Shower, df+H mash. Then you cancel into Stinger, f+H. Followed by a cancel into Bold Move, L/M/H + S. Then air S into the rest of the combo.

@TheBridgeCrosser not to say Dante is noob, but this is the reason his combo's are easier to perform than many other characters in MvC3. Many of his attacks link, and last quite awhile -- not requiring decisively quick button presses (a la Magneto, Jill, and others..). But like I said -- He's not noob or anything, just someone whos' combos are easier to perform than many others.
