I'm surprise to see how people reacted to Dr. Chee in Singapore. Apparently, not a lot of Singaporean share his views. I just wonder whether people living in Singapore understand what is the meaning of ALTERNATIVE. Yes, Singapore is relatively peaceful and stable compared to her neighouring countries but the attitude to accommodate dissident view doesn't need to compromise the stability of a country as long as you have TRULY educated the population. Here people appear to have been brainwashed .

i disagree. Yes, we have little freedom and sometimes overzealous ccensorship, but honestly, we trade all that for peace and stability, investorship security and economic growth. the PAP has its many many flaws i agree, but a politically stable country is what we have now, and to be honest anyway, how many times have YOU as an individual been silenced for what you had to say? its not as if every thought is controlled by the goverment.
