  • Thank you!

  • Thank you so much... I was so afraid of losing someone, that I forgot she actually never will be "mine"! you made me realise I just have to go with the flow, enjoy her company love and affection, and let go of the plans and expectations and fear!

  • Across the whole world you are making a difference in thousands of people´s lives...thank you Ajahn Brahm, you have certainly given me much needed peace and understanding...and I am so eager to continue learning from you!!

  • this man has transcended to a whole other level of human potential. I am so thankful for his wisdom.

  • hahaha, another hour please.

  • he seems awfully nervous for someone whos practices mediataion. look how he pets the wood and plaus with his fingers

  • @SRDK6 technique to maintain present mind state

  • Ah I totally needed this. Thank you.

  • @lumfrank go to keepvid.com and paste the URL of this video in the blank download space, click the download button and then you can choose which format of this video you want to download.

after you've downloaded the video then you can put it in your IPod using the ITunes application.

well, it also depends on what kind of IPod you're using.

  • ~*~ Gratitude and Love ~*~ Namaste ~*~

  • can anyone please kindly teach me how to download Ajahn Brahm dhamma talk into my ipod? Many thanks frank

  • Thank you so much...really help me relax from the stress of coming exam...Just needed a change in the way I think...

  • Nice to know I can down-load these talks from your web sight to my mp3 player.

  • I love your teachings and listen to them regularly. However, WHAT happens if you are in a job where you can't afford to make mistakes such as administering medication or jobs where you are held accountable for your mistakes such as surgery etc. If you make a mistake, you could lose your job or, worse, be taken to court etc. I totally get what you are saying, but it's not always that easy in real life.

  • @brucinda01 Jobs with that kind of responsibility are very important and an error could seriously hurt someone. Now that is stressful! However, here is where mindfulness and wisdom play a more important role than fear. In fact, in these types of situations, fear is the last thing that should be on anyone's mind. You need your mind to focus on the task at hand! So, I believe that developing skills in mindfulness will greatly assist you far more than feeling fear. ~Peace.

  • @tigerborn62 Thankyou for your comment, very good. Peace :)

  • I feel very enriched and uplifted by all your talks and wisdom (you deserve this...!)

    I love your beautiful being!.

  • Thank you for the talk.

  • Can you believe 2 people disliked this video?

  • Yes--things of things disappearing. Those attachments, even the ones we know we need to let go of! The attachment is so great that even letting go becomes fearful! Thank you for all your talks and especially this one.

  • Great talk. However, I'm stuck on this whole don't make any plans business. What exactly is he saying? Actually make no plans? Then how does he make it through life? Doesn't he make plans? Doesn't he plan on making the plane flight? Didn't he plan on building a monastery? etc. I am coming from a good place and I mean no disrespect whatsoever. I really want to understand this point. Just so you know...he starts on this issue somewhere at 20:00.

    Thanks for you help!

    Peace.

  • @tigerborn62 You have in your mind, the belief that you need plans to do things. But really.. he just decides "oh lets build this" and goes with it. He doesn't make plans, he just decides to do things at the time and goes with the flow. He doesn't decide what he WILL do, because you cannot know what you WILL do in the future.. even a few minutes or seconds into the future. You can try to do something in the future, but its never exactly how you will plan it because life controls what happens.

  • I'm not a buddhisim, but this guy is on point.

  • He is a great speaker.

  • Another great talk such wisdom... soothing life's fear. Don't really believe in God if I did this is one of his angels. thanks AB;-)

  • this is amazing sooo very funny so very true x

  • Thank you for the talk on letting go during deep meditation. I have experienced this fear of totally realeasing. I needed to hear your words!

  • My father who worked on the water much of his life used to say the following to his crew when the weather got really bad--"Don't worry until I do--and by then you'll be swimming".

  • Many years ago I had some debts and could not see how I would pay them. I became very stressed out for a whole winter--my quality of life was diminished. Then in the spring some unexpected income came my way, and all was well. I realized that all my stress had been totally unnecessary--worrying about something that was never going to happen. I made a firm resolve to stop worrying about things that might happen, but very often do not--It was one of the best things I ever did.

  • another delightful talk. lots of food for thought. thank you.

  • All the way from Syria-the middle east, Ajahn Brahm is changing my life in an amazing way.

with the internet, they cannot put cuffs on our brains no more. ;-)

  • From what is dear, grief is born, from what is dear, fear is born. For someone freed from what is dear there is no grief -- so why fear? From what is loved, grief is born, from what is loved, fear is born. For someone freed from what is loved, there is no grief -- so why fear? buddha
  • Lovely! :D

  • This may sound corny but this man changed my life.

  • @Mrcjp78 mine too

  • @HandyMan817

This man didnt CHANGE my life

    He IS CHANGING my life.

Your life is a work-in-progress, bud.

Your not done till your dead ;)

  • @Mrcjp78 Mine too :)

  • Really enjoyable and insightful. Thank you very much for your upload. Keep it coming. I am grateful.

  • Thank you!

  • Thank you Ajahn Brahm. I watched this video just before I went in for a stressful job interview and during the bus ride there instead of worrying about what I'd say I just thought, "Just be kind". It might sound hokey for a job interview, but you know what, it worked. I allowed my natural compassion & empathy to come through and I got asked in for a second interview--even though I KNOW I flubbed a few questions. People like kindness... It made me calmer AND maybe got me a job :D

  • the tree does not bear fruit without practice...listen all u like but u gota get down on ur butt and meditate or its all hot air .ok

  • @frankbough1955

it's patience not practice dude lol

  • His talks are inspiring. Thank you for sharing. I wish I have listened to the talks earlier. I was fearful of my future with a person I love very much and decided to give up. Nothing is perfect. I took my lack of inner peace on others. How stupid can a person be? Ya, that was me.

  • hey guys some people mention about d topic anger. he talks about it on d topic: Is Nibbana Guaranteed? peace

  • Amazing talk, thanks so much for posting. I am going through relationship trouble right now and I realize that a lot of my stress is from fear of losing something, fear of being perfect, and many other things. Very good advice on dealing with it to put a positive spin on it and stop trying to control; just let life happen and be kind. Your talks continue to help me and make me stronger, so thank you so much!

  • Hey... consider this.....

If you are having problems in your relationship, just simply start acting like you did when you met the person. What you did back then created the attraction.. go back to doing what works.... I know, it's not my case.......

    . But it's the truth!;;)

    Peace!!

  • Thank you very much for uploading and everything.

  • damn this is deep

  • Yeah consumerism is gonna end, we should embrace it!

  • you are the narrator of my soul,it will be a joy to watch all of your vids, hour after hour

  • Ajahn Brahm and the team. Your talk has direct benefits in both practical and personal development. As a father, I have advised my son to be brave and be fearless when I am not. It is so unfair. Sometimes, feeling like bully. He is 5 years old. Now together, we try to be brave and fearless. Even when he is not, I understand and accept his personal pace of development. At work, I am supposed to conduct a workshop for the whole crews (about 100 workers), I find strength in your talk. I am ready.

  • its good to hear that. You actually also learned patience

  • Hello Ajahn Drahm, could you please pass around a micophone to the audience?

    Thankyou, great talk.

  • Ajahn Brahm

  • Touch your fear, don't be afraid

Touch your fear, don't be afraid

    Don't be afraid

    Don't be afraid

    Don't be afriad

    It's the end of something

(The Rollins Band, Come in and Burn)

You have to touch something before letting go of it. Touch your body, breath, and others!

  • Great Topic with Great Wisdom thanks

    Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu

  • Thank you Ajahn Brahm, the world is so much better for your teachings.

If only there was someone like you who could teach children in schools, then we could create so much more happiness and peace for the future.

I am so appreciative of your Dhammas. I am so lucky to have discovered this channel, thank you so much for the service through these videos.

  • I feel the exact same way.

  • May noble triple gem blessings be with you Ajahn Brahm Thera. May you reach enlightenment as soon as possible and may you live long with good health and inner peace. These blessings are from Dushyantha from Sri Lanka with loving kindness and compassionate.

    Homage to Lord Buddha

    Homage to Dhmma

    Homage to Sanga

"Sabbe Satta Bawanthu Suki Thaththa" (May All Beings Be Well And Happy)

  • "Sabbe Satta Bawanthu Suki Thaththa".

That's now my channel title :)

    Is it Pali or Sanskrit?

  • Hey Anglaismoyen,

That's Pali, and I'll give you bit of an understanding of that. Well, when you perform metta meditation (Spreading Loving-kindness and Compassion) to the world we chant that in Pali, (Exact Buddha Words), "Sabbe Satta Bawanthu Suki Thaththa" . Sabbe - May All, Satta - Beings(Humans, Nonhumans, Gods,Yakkas, Animals, Brahmas), Bawanthu - All, Suki - Well (Healthy), Thaththa - Happy.

And that's the meaning of that in Pali.

May Noble Triple Gem Blessings Be With You.

    Dush

  • great to see a great teacher back
