  • A little more detail with regard to the footwork while turning would be most helpful.

  • @MrMZaccone no and i didnt say that it was my little cousin even though i dont think u guys shud say that stuff bout our grandpa im not like that maybe u shud try 2 b nicer

  • i done this on my older brother cause he is so bossy

    i said to him

"go suck ur dick u pedo"

brother"come say it to my face"

    me(says to face)

he grabs me i grab him and do this

    he got so pissed

    :3

  • If your opponent doesn't have a shirt you use a different technique. It doesn't take anything to figure this out.

  • What if my opponent has no shirt?

  • @Kwabongaztudio then twist his nipples or pull his chest hairs, DUH!

  • WHAT IF YOU ARE FIGHTING SOMEONE THAT HAS NO SHIRT ON?

  • @468shulazzo Then do another fucking move then dumbass

  • @Sevra87 oh so you are pretty smart, huh? well besides this move that I just learned on this video, I know this move, which I do very often, with no pants on,and its basically sticking my cock in ur mother's mouth,if u want to learn it just go ask that old bitch, she'll teach u, she should be a pro by now...fag

  • @468shulazzo you do something else

  • im going to learn judo for the throws should i do jiujitsu for the ground or just judo?

  • @onimas1 It definitely depends on the dojo. Many dojos barely work on any groundwork at all while some focous on it quite a bit. However, Jujitsu fighters are usually more dominant when on the ground.

  • @onimas1 Basically BJJ came from Kosen Judo so the basic fundamental techniques are the same. The only thing that's really different is that leg locks aren't incorporated in Judo as they were thought to be too dangerous for practice, although my dojo teaches them as well. I will admit that BJJ has a sharper ground game, but this happens when all you do is focus on one aspect of the game. If I were you I would train Judo 1st then BJJ. You'll be better off, and a more complete martial artist.

  • @livebyaltruism thanks for the information i found a really good dojo for judo and im going to start after the summer vocations =)

  • Love these advanced guy's they make you head hurt... I imagine a world were men can pull off advanced technique like they do the rookie level stuff. hehehe don't happen that way on my level... Oh well maybe someday!!!

  • He's shifting his right foot because he's standing flat footed, instead of pivoting on the ball of his foot... angle probably slightly off on kuzushi, making tsukuri a bit awkward? Can see him trying to keep weight 50/50, toes also in correct, but stance a bit awkward.

  • sushi LOL

  • @shortyorty sushi wtf u talking about?? (ku-zushi)

  • @alezyz it sounds like he's saying sushi instead of kuzushi

  • Judo+Jiu Jitsu = Success

Get them to the ground with Judo and finish them with Jiu Jitsu

  • Judo beats most things because it has correct balance between blocking and throwing

  • sorry its about kicks in taekwondo

  • although i guess at the end of the day it would depend on who used what martial arts better

  • @magicdude814 but im not sure which 1 is better but bjj is fast and had good moves like gaurdtakedown from back which is good and other things but i would still say judo is better

  • im not sure about this but in mma u have to learn the hits in boxing the kicks in kickboxing or muaythai the ground work in wrestling and the submissions in judo but i think judo is extra important because u get alot of points for just throwing your opponent on the floor

  • self-defence against fresh fruit sketch,

you have to check it out

  • sooo if the guy has no shirt im kind of screwed right?

  • @Mrandresmorales yes but there are several other trows you can use if the guy has no shirt

  • Does the guy on the left sort of scare you or is it just me? (Not in a judo way, but kill you and rape your dead body way)

  • What if they don't have a sleeve?

  • Why would he ever be fooled into thinking you're going to the left with that grip? Advanced judo? Yeah, right.

  • @MrMZaccone its a left side grip. and you throw him to the left(but for him you throw him to the right)..

he is expecting some move to the left from you, but gets a right one, causing confusion and possibly an Ipon.

  • @Play2Survive That inverted grip on the sleeve isn't going to tip him off? It would me.

  • @MrMZaccone you didnt try it :3

  • @Play2Survive No, I had a better idea. I start with a standard grip and then invert it with my kuzushi giving him no warning that I'm going the other way. The grip in this video is like painting a sign on your forehead ..."Hey, look what I'm about to do!"

  • all of u who think judo sucks y don`tu just go to hell because thats my grandpa and i do judo to so SHUT UP !

  • Respond to this video... Give Mommy back the keyboard now, ya little shit!

  • all of u who think judo sucks y dont u just go to hell because thats my grandpa and i do judo to so SHUT UP !

  • i do to shin do ninjutsu, what ninjas in japan do. it is truly the best! Judo sucks,.

  • IDK Y I JOINED TAE KWON DO I SHOULED HAD DID JUDO

  • ye ganja sala baccho se bhi pit jayega

  • Is it just me or does everybody that watches expert village and comments on it believe that they are experts on the subject?

  • @Tippet76 i know aye so annoying.

  • @Tippet76 hehe i just started watching these vids and all im saying y i didnt join judo instead of tae kwon do i mean siriusly judo is sick

  • press f5 to stop advertisments

  • jep. Sode Tsuri Komi, and bad! Right Arm must be long for more Power!

  • i also do judo in mma but i also find that jujitsu works well to. i do both judo and jujitsu along with kickboxing and muay thai in mma.

  • @Nirv29494 He isn't punching. He is breaking his fall.

  • @Nirv29494 its to break his fall...

  • @Nirv29494 im guessing youve never done any martial arts -_-

  • intresting... am ganna try this today in practice and see how i do :)

  • that's a grubby sode -.-

  • Very nice form :)

  • wow.. thats pretty simple! im gona try it...

  • sushi...?

  • @rift903 Kuzushi = imbalance

  • well, with me the difficult part is the movement of the legs, pretty difficult, to me.

  • sorry guys, but it is not seoi otoshi. Its sode tsuri komi goshi.

  • Bragoso is right it is tsuri komi goshi. Other then the name thanks for the vid keep posting.

  • @Bragoso sode tsuri komi goshi is when u grab both of uke's sleeves to throw. In the vid he grabs lapel and sleeve so its just called tsuri komi goshi

  • @garciag03 , the japonese word "sode" means variation. At this case, the tecnique was ended by the lapel side, whit sleeve greep outgoing. Yes, my friend, Its sode tsuri komi goshi.

  • @Bragoso lol thats what he said I swear...

  • @Bragoso Tsuri Komi Goshi?? No way

  • @dshojudo SODE tsuri komi goshi, dear, SODE tsuri komi goshi

  • @Bragoso Even so :D

  • @Bragoso omg fukin asperger trolls, just enjoy the video

  • yes judo does judo is 100 x better and i dont care what you say and there are take downs preacher 2121 you prick

  • judo CAN finish a fight before it even happens...that is...if your opponent doesn't know how to properly land...

  • could you throw him one more time please? I didnt quite get it the first few times...lol good vid!

  • I study Hap KI Do(Korean form of Judo) and I am a former Greco roman and freestyle wrestler and I can tell you from first hand knowledge that the best first strike move in a street fight is a kick to the front or the side of the kneecap. Remove the kneecap equation and the leg doesnt move

  • OH, Preacher, Please, please, Juijustsu is just another martial art and all that you find in Juijutsu you can find in judo. It really depends on the practitioner.

  • what if they are wearing a short sleave shirt?

  • You can still pull this off by controlling the head and elbow without the gi, it just takes serious directed study and practice.

  • preacher;; you got no clue I've been doing judo for 28 years

judo is a great sport very usefull too

  • Judo the best!

  • Jujitsu is so much better, in judo when you get the other person down it's fight over in jujitsu if you get the other person down the fight is just beginning you have to finish your opponent with realistic self defense moves that apply in the real world and has more complex moves aswell

  • @Preacher2121

Pretty sure you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • actually i do know what I'm talking about because i do Jujitsu have been for a while and before that i did Boxing and before that i did Karate I've been doing various martial arts for many years and i would take jujitsu over judo any day.

  • @preacher2121

Hopefully someday you will open your eyes and see how wrong you really, really are.

  • @preacher2121

they are diferent, and there are cases were judo is just best than jj, now, jj is also good, but i think for finishing an enemy FAST judo is better, u can end a fight with judo even before a punch is thrown.

  • ah hello dude finishers and submissions are half of jujitsu the other half is throws the whole point of jujitsu is maximum effect for minimum effort speed, precision, technique and power

  • judo is a descendant from jujitsu, and it is more focused on throws, so definetely judo is much better for takedowns and throws, when i meant judos could finish a fight fast, i was talking about slamming a dude on concrete.

  • yes judo is did cum from jujitsu i also know that judo has no throws or take downs that jujitsu doesn't all these demonstrations of judo on you tube can be found on JJ i know cuz iv'e done most of them, FYI JJ has more because of submission throws and and weapon disarms and take downs which are for more deadly, Judo is more a sport these days, JJ is for self defence, in a real fight and not a competition jujitsu is when someone is really fighting back not just try to get you down but kill u.

  • @preacher2121 judo was basically created so you could practice the jujitsu moves safetly and effectivly, who would win out of judo and jujitsu in a real fight? well it depends who has the best training regime.

  • @docwolfe77 yea preacher ignorant

  • @preacher2121 umhm and thats y the japanese police force held a contest between jj and judo and took judu over jj cuz it got fukn demolished LMAO your a real ignorant fukr huh lol

  • ooohoo Captain America over here!!

    you got no clue buddy

  • I love this throw, it's deadly. It's called Sode-Tsuri-Komi-Goshi by the way. (Two handed lifting-pulling hip throw)

  • who wonders if it can help in a real situation

    ask a judo advanced practitioner

    i will as well

  • mma is nice but im more concerned about self defense. icould care less how many fights i win in a cage. if i cant defend myself when it matters then my accolades are garbage. judo throw+concrete= end of fight. yes ive been harai goshi'd on the concrete and got a concussion. i agrre. in general , tae kwon do is a sport martial art that is very ineffective

  • i do judo and incorperate it into my mma i find it very affective in a fight for takedowns and throws.

  • @joeynonos so is it more effective than bjj?

  • @joeynonos hey so your saying that judo is affective in mma, more than BJJ

  • @joeynonos

    judo kicks ass

  • @joeynonos yeye same man :)

  • that reminds me of haria gosh but left

  • tai otoshi maybe, harai has a leg sweep, its more uki goshi if anything.

  • i liked how it ended haha

  • I want to ask you something. It might be a stupid question, but I really want to know it. Is Judo usefull for a real life situation? Are these techniques really usefull? Because you're not holding someone's jumper nicely as you're holding the gi of your opponent during the trainings.

  • hey i'm no expert but i felt like saying something. I think judo is good if u get into a clench or lock up. some throws and sweeps are affective. My question is how effective is it against some one larger then you.

  • Judo is one of the martial arts more useful with someone larger than you, by the way...

  • I really think judo can be very useful in a real life situation if you execute correctly the techniques. If you execute "atemis" with projection techniques is very useful. I'm a judo practitioner.

  • yes, but like ANY code of fighting its no match to a shot to the bollocks,

think of it like this, you cant kick / box while lying on the ground, you cant throw someone you arent in contact with. The real question is in any situation "what are you going to do?" run like a bitch or use what you know as best you can when appropriate. have a look at what ppl wear when you go out, and think about the grabbing and pushing that happens b4 the first punch is thrown in the street.

  • easy lol

  • People who are looking for street fighting techniques(sp?) are stupid. These are moves for the art or MMA. This isnt for people just running in hitting you(not exactly) this is for a competition.

  • the ultimate street fight move is a groin strike. ive dropped black belt with it . however, an experienced judokai can pull these moves off. if you get throw on concrete, lights out. do a groin strike and then do a judo throw, that guys gonna regret ever messing with you. these techniques work but thats why its called martial arts, there is an art to them. you cant just watch this video once and do them but they can work in a fight with the right training.

  • who cares if you've dropped a black belt...? I'm sure a groin strike would drop any man if done properly

  • yeah its not hard to do properly. im guessing youre a black belt and the one who gave me a thumbs down? well black belts are supposedly highly skilled and ive been told by others that it gives me bragging rights. all in all i dont think belts matter. if you can tell me a better street fight move besides a head butt, groin strike, or eye gouge id like to know. so keep youre fucking mouth shut if you dont know

  • bending fingers/thumbs is more effective. I'm an orange belt and no I don't give thumb ratings. belts matter to some degree but obviously they don't make a fighter. shut your own mouth

  • In a street fight i'll slash you. Done it before. Kali works against any arrogant street fighter.

  • yeah it works but typically its illegal. guns, on the other hand are a different story. i use martial arts as a last resort. i mean it could be legal if you came up for a proper alibi on why you had the knife in the first place.

  • @acidkid1984: A street fight itself is illegal. The realism of a street fight hits you hard when you are being attacked by 2 or more guys. Even if you like kicking their groin and poking eyes . You cant fight that off unless you like gambling your life. I don't. Carrying a knife legally depends on what state you are in. My area it has 4 inches and under.

  • belts ain't worth a flying fuck. i mean, if someone is a fuckin badass boxer or a muay thai guy and they got a black belt then yeah, there some hot shit. but like these little fuckheads that got their black belt in karate or tae kwon aint got shit. in a real fight, boxing is all ur gunna use for the most part and it doesnt hurt to know a few ground holds n arm bars n such

  • groin shots have their place, but if anyone sees it you look like a HUGE BITCH. seriously man, same thing with an eye gouge. they work but they really should be used only in survival sorta thing

  • Exactly... anyways in a street fight, in my opinion because I,ve never fought before, you would totaly forget this technique, unless trained for long periods of time and even mastered, and you would do anything to survive...

  • Learn wrestling in Britain with Cornish or Scottish back hold wrestling it looks lot like Judo/Greco Roman wrestling.

  • It was a joke downthumbers. Do never take me seriously

  • The bigger they are, the harder they fall. one of judos main phrases xD

  • ... what the fuck are you talking about.

  • it's good but you couldn't use this move in a street fight.

  • Comment removed

  • *THUD lol :)

  • I wanna take a course on it...While this me once didn't like it, but now am a good judo fan!

  • im a judo , karate, and kung fu black belt i love the vid please make loads more

  • ok??? you do judo karate and kung fu kool but your 18 you can even b a judo brown belt until 17 so your telling me your sensie promoted a one year expreince brown belt to black belt and thats assuming you just got the belt... dude thats a joke

  • u really couldent do this in wrestleing cuz there r no sleeves to grab like he dose

  • is that floor concrete?!

  • no its westling mats

  • All judo is about useing your opponets weight against them. a 100 pound man could throw a 300 pound man like in this video if they know proper judo. its not strength, but speed, skill, and getting the other guy off balence.

  • Trust me dude don't try it in wrestling.

  • in wrestling you can do a modified version of sode with a russian 2 on 1.

  • well i want to know if it works without sleeves because i wrestle and im good but ive never done this ...well intentionaly

  • when i started out with judo i didn't have a gi, this resulted in my sparring partners to make use of my wrist, back end of my elbow (or inside..) and neck hell.. one even managed to grab my collarbone.

so yeah, you should be able to do this.. just grab him into his arm a bit the movement doesnt have to change ^^

  • I dont se how these throw works, atleast in this video.

The guy in blue seems to jump over him rather then get thrown.

He doesn't even contact his hips..

  • Hey Curatalo, ur right this throw doesn't make hip contact, but ur not lifting ur opponent in this throw.

the idea of this throw is to unbalance ur opponent, then pull him in opposite direction.

the opponent gets thrown because when you "pull him", he isn't able to follow you around.

because ur right right it meant to be "blocking he's left leg".

kinda hard to explain, but u watch it again it might make more sense.Hope this helps =]

  • Ohhhh, got it.

    Thanks.

This doesnt use your hips, it uses the offbalance of your opponent?

  • this was the first thing I learnt xD

  • Sorry son its uke, emmm study and train a little more. I am selection of my country i know what i am talking about. C ya.

  • The guy in blue, uke, isnt Stuart from MAD TV? xD

  • omg... its uki not uke... BIGGG difference... sorry XP

  • lol no duh!!! Asia And European Sensi are way more creative and way more smarter!!!Americans only do it.....Europeans and Asian's think it.....then do it!!! Its called being smart and useing ur variations.!!! Kuzure!! Pce form Germany!

  • Those guys are so lame on Judo. European and Asian Judo much better

  • wow yeah hmm never seen that variation of the throw...

  • its good and not to hard to pull off

  • then get a sleeve ideot

  • before insulting someones intelligence maybe you should learn how to spell idiot, idiot..

  • im with you. But dont insult someone over a typo. Its just a mistake, not a matter of inteligence.

  • i agree with ya, and i normally wouldnt, in fact it annoys me when people just nit-pick about spelling. but i was just defending whoever he had insulted/attacking him in turn. :P

  • lol wat if they don't have a sleeve?

  • its easy just push their elbow

  • Will this with the trap of the shoulder or the triceps of the left arm? I see he's using the gi to throw and not the guy.

  • I don't do Judo, I'm a wrestler, but this kind of stuff is handy for Wrestling as well, you just need to modify it a bit.

  • personal experience i've found you can do a lot of judo throws from the over/under clinch. May not be very technical but i've found them to be very effective

  • i fuck a lot of bitches this way

    thanks expert village

  • if you get the chance a flying armbar would help because its unsuspected

  • extremely hard to pull off..

  • i dont think so but aww well

  • yea too bad its illegal in high school judo

  • If you want to make this throw nasty, throw the arm right right across his body so he can't breakfall and land on top. You can drive your elbows in wherever you want(you will get away with doing this in a real judo tournament as well)

  • omg. what was this throw called again?

its such a fun throw to learn and its a lot easier to learn that throws like uchimata.

i remembered i kept kicking my partner's crotch and thigh pretty hard.

  • Hi there, That throw is called Sode Tsuri Komi Goshi. Yes it is sweet...I do it from a right grip and transfer my right hand under his left arm as I enter..that way I control both arms and make the transition to ne waza easier.

    Enjoy your Judo!!

  • gagawing martial arts ba un kung hindi mag-work?

  • i've got brown belt in shotokan, now im intrested in judo.

  • Yes, learning some grappling is important. You must be well rounded, because most fight end in a clinch. I am trained in kickboxing/judo myself.

  • thanks 4 the advice :)

  • definately a good idea.

i started in jiu jitsu, and now on top of that im doing ninjutsu haha

  • dude expert village rulez

  • muay thais better

    more powerblows

  • no muah thai isnt better than judo because they are two seperate parts of the fight game. LEARN BOTH

  • dude someone who knows muay thai and judo is nealry invinsible

  • muay thai and judo work very well together

  • No martial art is better than the next, learn that and you'll be a wiser person.

  • I disagree, some martial arts just dont work.

  • Well, -systema- seems a little quirky, now that you mention it. lol
