And speaking of overrated players, I'm a WCE supporter, and no doubt he WILL be an amazing player, but the way the commentators and media pundits have wanked on about Natanui defies all logic.

He's a DEVELOPING player! The highlights reel for players like Franklin and Natanui are impressive for sure, but for consistent A grade performance, give me Kelly and Varcoe any day.

@lolaroflmao -one standout memory of mine having been at the game was the Collingwood sheep belting out their chant (three goals up in the second quarter) as if to say 'We've Gotcha Geelong'..it was your typical black and white army arrogance and the last we heard of it in 2011 as the mighty Cats grinded their way back into the game and had the last laugh and chant (Geeeelong! Geeeelong!) and sent the magpies packing..what a luverrly day!

@terrythekittie i know! its like the pies fans pride themselves on arrogance. Lots of my friends dont go for the Cats but they live in Geelong, and they think Cats fans are the worst... couldnt be further from the truth!

@lolaroflmao - the ferals at least sure do pride themselves on their hubris but there are a few who know better..one Collingwood supporter said 'well done' after the siren but get them in a mob and no other mob comes close to their 'born to rule' mentality (as someone so aptly put it).

Varcoe is the most UNDER-RATED player in the AFL.

He's got blistering speed, penetrating disposal accuracy, and reads the play like an absolute fucking genius...

I don't get why the Melbourne media don't talk him up more...

@Hammersley1967 He can go missing for extended periods and his consistency is something the club has tried to work on. It there were a few less of the quiet patches, he could be anything.
