Hippos are really dangerous, their tusks in their mouths can be as long as the Rhino horn almost.

Also a fact not know, hippos kill more humans than any other animal in Africa.

They are fucking mean as hell. Crocodiles doesn't attack them in water holes they share.

They know NOT to do that, in fact Hippos bite the crocs at times if they get to close or bother the hippo.

Also has a tremendous bite force. A hippo biting a Rhino would pose a serious problem.

They have at least 2 tusks that can be over 1 foot long each, Their mouths are so big that they can easily bite a Rhino and bury the tusks in them.

Sure the Rhino can gore the hippo but as I said the hippo can bite back.

lol you are clueless! I have lived in Africa for a long time and I can assure the hippo would take care of a rhino. I have seen them split a croc into two with one bite. And I dont mean a small big croc. Go and do research and you'd find Hippos beating Rhino's all day. Hippos never back down for any animal. Rhinos are actually cowards and get frightened easily. I know everyone loves the Rhino more than the Hippo but they are overrated in terms of aggression and the hippo is underrated. I have seen them take on Rhinos, large buffalo's even tried elephants who have come to the water(of course ran away in the end)

I think rhinos have better equipment to do more damage than a hippo, but I think hippos are generally more aggressive than rhinos. Rhinos more likely to run away than hippos. It all evens out in the end.

See how wide its mouth is? One bite and those teeth are sinking in quite a few inches. Unlike being gored, those teeth can and will rip flesh off. The Rhino isn't going to do much at close range, but the Hippo's ferocity makes it very dangerous to attack up close. Also, its jaw is just wide enough to close around a Rhino's neck.

However, Hippos have a stronger bite force and they have (rarely) been filmed eating meat. Even predatation and cannibalism was seen before.

Like you mention about the hippos bite pressure, with that kind of pressure it could defntly pierce any animal it decided to bite.rhino got that horn and most animals at increased speed nearly do 4x their weight in pressure. so its quite possible a rhinos hit would be well over 10,000ibs of pressure.

seriously a black rhyno rhino takes 2 seconds to make a big hole in the mouth of the hippo with its long horn or in any other part of his body. that rhyno was very shy... again, a whit rhyno is much more powerful and tall than a hyppo.
