I wasnt refering to the "vocal" portion of the song. I was refering to the ENTIRE instrumental. It is an endless loop played over and over from the original. Remove this loop and all you would have is her singing. The part the Tom Tom Club should recieve royalties for is the instrumental portion. The same as Queen recieved when Vanilla Ice ripped off "Under Pressure" so he could create "Ice Ice Baby". This is the best example I can give you.

its the same tune, but not the original Tom Tom song. It got rerecorded. Just look at every karaoke song ever made, its rerecorded with whacked out instruments so it sounds the same but isn't exactly the same.
