He leans to the left, places his hand down and uses the kick to support him and balance him and also to stop the rotation he caused by leaning. Then he swings his arms and right leg all up with rotation to the right, he does the samething with his chest.

@raydredX and he kind of jumped at first with his arm bending when he landed...which requires strength if you want to balance yourself...you do not jump, land with a bended arm and kick at the same time if you're going to do the move, that will make it really hard to do. if you compare the this kick with some videos here in youtube you might see what Im trying to say...well im not really sure...

Heck, he's had about every bone broken and, burned his skin, needed brain surgery and more because of his career. He's also good at martial arts. Check his older films before he got well known in Amercia. Also, he used to be a stunt double for Bruce Lee. Jackie Chan is as real as it gets!
