One comment regarding putting stock certificates (or PM) into a safety deposit box: DONT. There are plenty of resources online to research to tell you why not to anymore. Do your Due Diligence or if you have a friend who is (or knows) a Branch Manager at a bank as them what effect the Patriot Act and other new laws and Presidential signing statements have on property confiscation..

i agreed. back i 1930s the government confiscate the gold bullion. they made it illegal to hold them.
learn history and hide the gold.
