@eymoose while that is true it is still hugely over exaggerated 400 pounds is probably more accurate which is still beastly since under normal conditions the biggest of males only get to be about 250
@Sunderland4745 a male gorilla is a good amount stronger, as iv seen gorillas break banana trees at the trunk. if they fought to the death, the fight might last about 10 minutes, but the gorilla would win. they could both easily kill a man, though

That is an outright lie. He is NOT anywhere NEAR 600 lbs. Gorillas don't even get that big, at least not in the wild. It's a shame when documentaries resort to lying, embellishment, and sensationalism. That diminishes their credibility.

apparently they do become massively overweight in zoos, i don't know about 600 lbs. In the wild they weigh about 15 stone
