  • now THAT is some GOOD MOFO'IN MUSIC!!!

  • @STIFFLERspole Yes, it was also premiered in the same year.

  • i hate it when a video has a top rated comment about religion when the video has nothing to do with it.

  • someone please compile the atheist classical music section please. i need something to listen to while i take a shit.

  • Why do you of no faith find it necessary to insult those who have faith? Let them believe that it was inspiration from god. It's as bad as arguing over Ford vs Chevy , There is no need to belittle some one over their theology just to prove your self appointed importance. Just be glad that more than one type of person can enjoy the genius that is motzart.Who cares if it was inspired by god or something his wife did to/with him the night before?( pun on the 'magic' flute XD)

  • @TheRealXynot

What a great comment from the start to the end! xD

  • @dmtbass

    Thank you-

I loathe degradation for the sake of it. And to see it associated with such perfection... intolerable.

  • "Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius."

    — Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

    Happy Birthday WAM

  • Think the best couple of words that can adequately describe Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is 'Pure Genius'... if he were alive today I am confident that he would be performing to packed out Auditoriums and Concert Halls the World over!

Thank you Mr Mozart for enriching us with the legacy of your compositions!!

  • @hot5pur11 duh

  • The Magic isn't in the Flute, it's in the MOZART!

  • One of the best versions I have ever heard of this excellent overture. I can`t understand how its possible to write something like this. Truly amazing:)

  • very good record.

    which orchestra plays?

    and who is the conductor

  • @kaasaco Utter bullshit, shot-through with fallacy and assumption. Why CAN'T we just enjoy Mozart's wonderful gift of great music? God may or may not exist but Mozart's music will neither prove or disprove it. Grow up and learn to live with ambiguity. Secondly, read GODEL in which it IS --indeed --proven that in the most complete formal systems, there is always at least one statement BEYOND proof one way or another, 2) read A.J. Ayer in which 'meaning' is defined in terms of verification.

  • @milosbrka

Well, it can't be easy being an atheist after hearing the greatest miracle ever allowed we wretched human worms. If Mozart's music is not the most absolute proof of God existent then we have no reason to exist in this universe or any other.

  • @PandaMishima Mozart's music does not prove the existence of God any more than does Rachmaninoff, Beethoven or Black Sabbath.

  • @lennhart

Then I guess nothing else can, not even the Beatles. You do pick wondrous musicians, the ones I still consider the most worthy.

"I will still follow Aslan even when He is not there to lead."

  • @PandaMishima I did not wish to sound flippant. But 'God' cannot be defined nor 'his' existence proven by logic or science, let alone music. Many have claimed to experience 'God'. I cannot dispute them; they are entitled to describe a personal experience in any way they wish. But --a 'personal' experience of anything is beyond proof by definition. Logic is 'public' but my personal experience upon witnessing a fleeting sunset upon the cliffs of Santa Helena canyon are mine and mine alone.

  • @lennhart if you're implying crazy train doesn't prove god then idk

goin' off the rails on a craaaazy goddd~

  • @sunpocket I didn't 'IMPLY' anything. I stated it outright.

  • I can't stand the added echo effect.

  • Astounding and the opera is marvelous.

  • @milosbrka you like men at night.....in bed

  • one of the most enchantingly beautiful pieces i have ever heard :)

  • 0:21 God I love this part! ....it gives me the creeps... it´s so beautiful! Mozart, you were genius.

  • But you feel like beating around the bush have some with the religious theme, that's like discussing the sex of angels (their gender). Let's see, Mozart was a genius, and exceptional music composed. If Mozart wrote music so beautiful, we must then accept that God exists, because if there is music, so then everything is possible even God.

Not if God gave a gift to Mozart, but what if it is that Mozart was able to express to God through his music.

    (Sorry my bad English.)

  • My dad died exactly a year ago. And this was his favourite. Miss him so much.

  • to those debating religion in the music... This opera was worked on by a librettist who was a freemason. The Freemasons read from the Christian Bible in all there ceremonies. This Overture is a contrast between good and evil which is prestented by the dynamics and the the phrasing, as you can hear the number three plays a major role in the overture linking it to the trinity.

  • I have listened to this piece of music at least a hundred thousand times! IN THE PAST TWO YEARS SINCE I DISCOVERED IT.....MOST EXCELLENT PIECE!

  • @peregrinusnoctis my comment was directed at those leaving comments suggesting "god" is somehow responsible for Mozart. It has nothing to do with what may or may not have influenced the composers. I don't see how a lack of tolerance towards religion results in substandard music? If anything is ridiculous it is that. As for learning tolerance? I will not be taking instruction from religion as it advocates quite the opposite.

  • Well said.

  • @fozziebear2009 Mozart's father thought his son was one of god's miracles, and drug him all over europe thinking he needed to share him with the people. It pretty much screwed Mozart up for life.

  • @allpainppd

Herr Mozart was right in the fact young Amadeus not just was but IS one of God's Miracles -- and let anyone who says wrong be beaten thoroughly by Minnesota Vikings' fans, and I mean the kind with the hottest Scandinavian blood!

  • @PandaMishima nevermind what young Amadeus wants.

  • @allpainppd

You must be rooting for the Packers.

  • @PandaMishima I couldnt give a rats ass about football

  • @allpainppd

    Yes, but we're talking MOZART.

  • @fozziebear2009 Well put! Right on! I especially applaud your statement: "I don't see how a lack of tolerance towards religion results in substandard music? If anything is ridiculous it is that. As for learning tolerance? I will not be taking instruction from religion as it advocates quite the opposite." You hit the nail on the head! RIGHT ON!

  • I have a feeling that what Mozafunkula was trying to say is that this is beyond what a human could compose. Not so much that it is from God.

  • Keep your religious bullshit out of music. It doesn't belong there.

  • How ridiculous. Many things--amongst them, religion, superstition, and freethinking--have influenced some of the greatest music of every canon. Intolerance, however, tends to influence composers to create the worst.

    Learn tolerance.

  • @fozziebear2009 my religion belongs everywhere! why? because everywhere I go I see it! when I wake at night, it's there, I'll say to you what my nephews tell me all the time "your not the boss over me" I will leave religious comments whenever I damn well please! here, there, everywhere! ...wait... the music is getting to me...that's God expressed..I see him in the birds, in the moon, Mozart was a gifted person, the central nervous system of his spirit was God, the source of inspiration

  • Love the theme at 1:26....God Mozart, you are a genius...

  • Excellently performed, but which orchestra is performing?

Thanks for having posted it. The Zauberflöte is one of my favorites.

  • Mozart Yet Again proves that his music transends Human Calibaration to Reach The Godly and divine Level.

Mozart is the Diety of Music.

  • Thanks CMO for this music !

  • This is a wonderful recording of this overture paying close attention to all the markings in the score... I am quite impressed. does anyone know which orchestra is playing or who is conducting?

  • Do you think you will post your playing on youtube?

  • I'm sure your very talented.

  • Magic Flute was truly written for plain people audience and I believe that anyone can find his favourite moment in this magnificent piece

  • INDESCRIBABLY MAGNIFICENT!

  • I am not capable of distancing myself from this. It goes beyond my understanding, it goes through whatever means usually utilized to perceive the world.

  • Way to go deep, Socrates.

  • This is music beyond understanding

  • Distance yourself less from it; that's essential to truly absorbing it.
