What the fuck is with those chair kicks they wouldn't even be useful in Martial arts. They don't use the inside of the foot. Plus they aren't using proper technique. The rest looks great though. Just that one part that I am very questionable about.
For plyo, for me at least I drink at least 6 glasses of water before I start because I sweat a lot. This will kick your ass if you don't fuel (eat) and drink water before. For me I use a neoprene belt to even get more sweat for my core.

@Papatoole to me the recovery dink doesn't really taste that good i have to add extra water but it does help me to gell less nauseous and makes me feel like i can do something besides sit/lay there and breathe. after my first p90x i was shakig like crazy took the drink and i stopped shaking still tired but at least i wasnt shaking XD

im just curious if anyone who has started this has bad knees? my left knee is really balky right now im trying to strengthen before i start the program.. appreciate replies if they have faced the same issue.
@allout21 I am on week 3, i have a bad right knee and bad right ankle. They both crack and pop frequently during Plyometrics and Kenpo. Don't let it stop you from trying though. Just make sure you take your sweet time warming up and cooling down and pace your self, take it slow at first and over time your legs will become stronger and you wont need to worry so much. Granted i'm only 24, but you may want to wear a brace if it's really bad.
By the time run stance switch pickups happens I'm barely lifting my legs off the floor. Good stuff for the air you got. Plyo is something I fear every week lol.
Plyo is so tough for me, and you make it look so easy, lol! The first time I did it, I wanted to die, but it makes my legs feel great! I think it is cool you do this exercise without shoes, I never thought of that.
@gtvenom11420 You will not get tree trunks from this workout, but what it will do is increase your explosiveness. You will be faster, jump higher, and increase your leg muscle endurance. Hope that helps.

Dude you cant be squating with your back hunched over round, its bad posture and bad for your knees. You need to learn to arch your back while squatting.
This is exactly what is so wrong about P90X - ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, DANGEROUS FORM!!! Ever squat and plyometric landing is putting stress on the knees (especially the medial collateral ligaments) and spine (lumbar, thoracic and cervical). The feet are turned out, the knees have no lateral stability and extend forward over the toes create major shearing force on the knee- BAD NEWS! There is no core control or control of momentum. As for the spine, a hint: NO ROUND BACK!

@cDmFiLmS Hi, i'm currently a resident at UAB hospital as an oncologist, in my second year of med school we learned all the causes of nausea for during and post workout sessions. The most common reason for nausea is over hydration. It's relatively simple to fix this, do not drink as much water. Second is that you are not "cooling down" or "warming up" pre and post workout. third is dehydration, simple fix here as well, drink more. Do not eat an hour before your workout either. hope this helps!!
Alright guys, today was day one of the 90 day challenge for me! I did pretty good, but I am in terrible shape. Most of my reps are in the high single digits up to 18 reps... I'm 23, and currently weighing in at 250lbs! What results can I expect for the first 90 days? I cut out soda, and I am dieting low cals, low carbs, etc... if I keep it up, what do you think I can expect? Do you think I can make it to 185 again, or do you think I will have to do another 90 days?

Today was the first day of me doing this dvd....and it was not easy at all. I personally worked out moderately before going to the gym 4 days a week. Seriously this killed me and i was unable to do some moves. I love that they do show the modified moves because it makes me feel less of an ass that i can not keep up. Okay so i hear the workouts are good, but how much of the nutrition guide are you guys following? And weight lifting with p90x should be consider over training so how is this being added.
so is this good for building big muscles, I have been lifting for 2 1/2 years so should i keep lifiting and slowly add this into my routines? say 1 day weights 1 day p90 1 day weights etc. I am in pretty good shape but I am looking to lose a little bit of bf im at about 12 right now i would liek to be down to 7-8

Plyo is the hardest by far, although I haven't tried Yoga X yet and some people say that's harder. I don't actually do the program I just use some of the videos to supplement my regular workout routine, and I just started a few days ago.

i did my first time plyo yesterday and I can say....my body is aching like hell! damn..I did over a year regular training 3-5 times a week for over a year before I started p90x, but havent experienced anything like this before. I love it though and I just keep looking at result vids of others, it really motivates me to "bring it". :) Yea, Im curious what will be my results at the end of phase 3.

This is fun. Did it on a semi-full stomach of sushi haha. The first time I heard about P90X, I did the whole video as the same pace as the people. It's pretty fun :). My friends kept calling me a monster because I could keep up with them and because it was my first time haha.

Plyo is one of the most brutally gruelling discs in the set. I learned quickly not to eat before doing plyometrics.

I'm 15 & I just started P90X Yesterday. Today, was plyo & I felt like vomiting. And Yesterday on chest & back I puked like a crazy person. Is this normal?

@cDmFiLmS Hi, i'm currently a resident at UAB hospital as an oncologist, in my second year of med school we learned all the causes of nausea for during and post workout sessions. The most common reason for nausea is over hydration. It's relatively simple to fix this, do not drink as much water. Second is that you are not "cooling down" or "warming up" pre and post workout. third is dehydration, simple fix here as well, drink more. Do not eat an hour before your workout either. hope this helps!!

When I stopped doing P90x for about 2 months it went away. Now that I'm starting over it's freaking back!

Alright guys, today was day one of the 90 day challenge for me! I did pretty good, but I am in terrible shape. Most of my reps are in the high single digits up to 18 reps... I'm 23, and currently weighing in at 250lbs! What results can I expect for the first 90 days? I cut out soda, and I am dieting low cals, low carbs, etc... if I keep it up, what do you think I can expect? Do you think I can make it to 185 again, or do you think I will have to do another 90 days?

@LonelyStonerTV LMFAO .....i think it was 24 hours after i first tried plyometrics i got the most EPIC muscle cramp in my ass in the middle of the night, i ended up kicking my wife by accident cuz it hurt like a bitch. I couldnt get it under control.

I only need to lose like 6-7 pounds, but I don't want to build muscle under the fat I'm trying to lose.

Today was the first day of me doing this dvd....and it was not easy at all. I personally worked out moderately before going to the gym 4 days a week. Seriously this killed me and i was unable to do some moves. I love that they do show the modified moves because it makes me feel less of an ass that i can not keep up. It gives me the drive to continue..i'm just afraid of not being able to move tomorrow...lol

so is this good for building big muscles, I have been lifting for 2 1/2 years so should i keep lifiting and slowly add this into my routines? say 1 day weights 1 day p90 1 day weights etc. I am in pretty good shape but I am looking to lose a little bit of bf im at about 12 right now i would liek to be down to 7-8

Plyo is the hardest by far, although I haven't tried Yoga X yet and some people say that's harder. I don't actually do the program I just use some of the videos to supplement my regular workout routine, and I just started a few days ago.

you did reg training 3-5 times a week for over a year, and never had aches like this programme, lol you must be shit at training. i did my first time plyo yesterday and I can say....my body is aching like hell! damn..I did over a year regular training 3-5 times a week for over a year before I started p90x, but havent experienced anything like this before. I love it though and I just keep looking at result vids of others, it really motivates me to "bring it". :) Yea, Im curious what will be my results at the end of phase 3.
