i hear the blocks calling me man , click, click. i wasted months on end in the 70s with my lego problem. then they came out with the really good space legos in the late 70s, ever since i've been spaced out. not even the micronaughts could save me.
i thought it was the drugs ,but evidently biting my nails rapidly aged me.
I have to agree with most of the other posters here. This has got to be the most boring, pointless anti-drug Film I have ever seen.Did anybody else lose track of what they were talking about after the first 2 minutes?
The acting is hideous. These kids sound like they absolutely do not want to be here, and I don't bloody blame them. This was a waste of good education time for anyone forced to sit down and watch this dreck. Curse you Anita, curse you and your anti-gay, right-wing agenda.
@LadyBGreen87 - Thanks for this information - I think you and your source are correct. I looked at a database of LEGO sets at the LUGNET site and the one in the video clearly looks more like the kind of packaging used in 1970 than what is found with sets released in 1979. I couldn't identify an exact set from ones in LUGNET's database - there's actually one from 1971 that has a motor and gears in it and is fairly large. Definitely something to think about.
haha i went to that archive site and watched the whole thing. this is hilarious. i'm fairly certain this could only spark a child's interest/fascination with drugs. i mean if drugs are like those legos falling apart.....man.
I had at least a dozen pair of those trousers all from one pattern. My mum was an adequate seamstress but by no means experimental or original lol. Then again, I did wear the pink and purple paisley pair until they literally fell off my body in tatters.
Cool video! I wonder why they don't sell those kinds of legos anymore. That stupid boy needs his hearing checked! He seems to ask hu? and what? all of the time.
Drugs are like ball-peen hammers and fondue...

These kids have to be on drugs. The fact that the kids forget what the hell they are talking about is a clear sign that they are on something.

Thanks LEGO for showing that drugs are fun!!!!

It sounds like a parody of a PSA made by hippies for proto-hipster irony!

LOL! Oh my. I thought the machine's cogs would just stop turning. I didn't expect the dramatic collapse with smoke and sound effects.

Why would you want kids who have a lego box full of drugs telling you not to do drugs?
TheT4xid3rmist 2 years ago
@TheT4xid3rmist Maybe they're trying to teach us how to hide the box better?

Techno Lego rocks! Way better than connex or mechanex.

u mean technics knex and magnetix
Hoser1358 3 years ago
No I don't. In Canada the brand names were connex and mechanex, but they were essentially the same products as the brand names that you listed.
thegirl44 3 years ago
I also see that you weren't around in the 70's, these were the original incarnations of the more complex building sets that they have today.

This movie has those motors!!! I could NEVER find those old style motors, gears and wires when I played with Legos.
Sorry all, these were probably my favorite toys as a kid next to a video camera :)
